WEEK 1

[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.

The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.

If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.

I...could not say. WD-40 is some sort of oil, I assume?

Uh-huh. I don't really know why they have it, but maybe it's useful in a theatre. I don't have to fix things often, so I just didn't think about it.

Do you know what it does, exactly?

No... But I know it's supposed to be useful for making things move?

Huh. Like...putting it within mechanics to keep them lubricated, I assume.

[You do that with clocks right]

Probably? [She gets to the storage closet and opens it up, quickly taking things out and piling them onto the floor.] Okay, we just have to hide this thing!

[dechagny]

Right - here, let me help you.

[He's gonna start taking stuff down. Whoa, there's some awfully weird future stuff in here, huh?]

We must be certain there is enough room for this abomination to fit comfortably!

And something heavy to put in front of it! Probably the oil jugs?

[dechagny]

Yes! Let me see...

[He goes and checks deeper in the shelves for the oil, finds a few cans. Soon he brings them back to where Hime is.]

This says WD-40, so these must be it, yes?

[rockthistown]

Uh-huh! [Hime's now cleared a big chunk of the closet.] Now we can just stash that ugly thing back there and no one will ever need to look at it again.

[Let's hope. ...Unless it somehow gets used in a murder.]

[dechagny]

[Knowing luck, it will be. Here, let Raoul help you just shoooove this thing back deep in here, and then start pushing the oil bottles against it to create a barrier.]

And a good riddance to it.

Who would even design that?

[dechagny]

A loon and a madman, certainly.

[Raoul dusts his hands, happy to be rid of the thing.]

Either way, I hope we never see that thing again.
