WEEK 1

[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.

The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.

If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.

[ He sighs. He's not so sure anymore, Anna keeps looking at everyone but him... ]

Though I appreciate the sentiment. If I knew of some way to fix it, I would.

["Don't you want her back?" It just sounds like a strange thing to say if you're in love.

[ He's sure of this! Or at least, passionate about it. ]

I just have to form the right words... the right song.

[The passion, it reminds him of his own passion for his music.

"Maybe I can try and help you find the right song."]

[ There it is! Of course, Hans really does want Anna back. Nothing goes right unless they're together. ]

Would you really do that for me? Something that could win her over to me again?

[Who's he to stand in the way of love? They both seem like good people

He nods.

"It will show how you really feel."]

Yes, I hope so.

[ He nods right along. ]

Anna and I shared a connection that was... well, it was true love. I'm certain she'll feel the same way again!

[ All he needs is the right musical number, right? ]

["It's like old souls."

Old souls...old souls...

Wait, that gives him an idea. Winslow already begins scrawling the start of a few notes on his clipboard.]

[ Hans sticks around, watching Winslow work. It's actually pretty cool. He's never seen someone compose before. ]

Do you have an idea already?

[This kind of work keeps him distracted, honestly. He feels most alive working on his music.

He raises a finger for one moment before turning to the piano. He puts out the beginning bars of a romantic tune.]

[ Hans closes his eyes, listening intently. Really, Winslow is very good. ]

That's lovely.

[ It almost sounds a bit sad, but then so is being forgotten by your true love! ]
