WEEK 1

[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.

The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.

If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.

Enjoy your week, everyone.]

[Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday]

[ooc: This is the last mod post for the week for us! Feel free to start depositing coins in the merch booth if any of your threads have reached that length, so long as they're not with the Balladeer. Remember, song threads mean double coins! There will be no murder this first week so gain all the CR you can while it lasts, darlings.]

[Blinks.]

"Key"? Sorry, I don't know what you're talking about.

The key to the door of time.

[Honestly, secrecy is not as paramount as trying to figure this all out. If I must, when we are free, I will--]

So many people, from different times...access to the door of time is the only way that's even possible, that I'm aware of.
dontfeedplants: (You know the book doesn't lie)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-14 05:09 pm (UTC)(link)
[Man this week sure is full of weird revelations.]

Do... do you mean there's an actual door?
solomonjihad: (...never mind)

[personal profile] solomonjihad 2016-10-14 06:10 pm (UTC)(link)
That's right. Mother told me of it. It can't just be accessed by anyone.

[To demonstrate, she doodles a picture of it.]

Its guarded by a sailor soldier.
dontfeedplants: (Stick with that plant)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-15 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
[Seymour gets the feeling that they're speaking the same language but he's having a hard time getting it.]

So it's in the ocean?
solomonjihad: (well I don't know...)

[personal profile] solomonjihad 2016-10-15 12:33 am (UTC)(link)
No. In the underworld.

[To be fair, Astarte's reality is something far removed from 95 percent of everyone here.]
dontfeedplants: (They say the meek gonna get it)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-15 01:32 am (UTC)(link)
... How many people here have a connection with Hell?

[That's rude Seymour.]
solomonjihad: (well I don't know...)

[personal profile] solomonjihad 2016-10-15 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
...You mean besides Jezebel?
dontfeedplants: (You know the book doesn't lie)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-15 01:35 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I mean you mentioned the underworld.
solomonjihad: (well I don't know...)

[personal profile] solomonjihad 2016-10-15 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
...I know of it. I've never been there, though.

[So many years, living in darkness, you know nothing-]

dontfeedplants: (You know the book doesn't lie)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-15 02:48 am (UTC)(link)
Still, where I'm from, I've never even heard of anyone who has actually went to Hell.

[Literally, at least.]
solomonjihad: (absolutely a normal human!)

[personal profile] solomonjihad 2016-10-15 02:56 am (UTC)(link)
Where do you live?
dontfeedplants: (By and by)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-15 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
Skid Row. Uh, in New York, I mean.
solomonjihad: (well I don't know...)

[personal profile] solomonjihad 2016-10-15 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
New York...isn't that where the Empire State Building is?

dontfeedplants: (They say the meek gonna get it)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-15 04:05 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, and the Statue of Liberty.
solomonjihad: (maybe I can be friends!)

[personal profile] solomonjihad 2016-10-15 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
That...sounds amazing. I've never been. To New York.
dontfeedplants: (What am I saying?)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-16 01:37 am (UTC)(link)
[Seymour sighs.]

It's not so great. I mean, I know there are some great parts of New York, but I've never been to them.
dontfeedplants: (My future's starting)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-17 06:01 pm (UTC)(link)
[Shrugs.]

When you live in New York, I guess you don't really think about going to the places a lot of tourists go to?

[Also the money issue, but he hasn't thought much about going to any of the touristy places.]
solomonjihad: (absolutely a normal human!)

[personal profile] solomonjihad 2016-10-18 12:00 am (UTC)(link)
...If you could go, would you? Do you hear about the places tourists go?
dontfeedplants: (You know the book doesn't lie)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-18 09:50 pm (UTC)(link)
[Seymour looks thoughtful.]

Maybe, I've heard about some of the nice places here. Although most of the times I wish I could just leave Skid- New York and never come back.
solomonjihad: (well I don't know...)

[personal profile] solomonjihad 2016-10-19 04:55 pm (UTC)(link)
...You...don't like living there?
dontfeedplants: (Stick with that plant)

[personal profile] dontfeedplants 2016-10-22 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
No one who lives downtown does. It's... not really a great place to live.
solomonjihad: (absolutely a normal human!)

[personal profile] solomonjihad 2016-10-22 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
So...everything good is uptown?
