week 1
[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.
The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.
If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.
Enjoy your week, everyone.]
[ooc: This is the last mod post for the week for us! Feel free to start depositing coins in the merch booth if any of your threads have reached that length, so long as they're not with the Balladeer. Remember, song threads mean double coins! There will be no murder this first week so gain all the CR you can while it lasts, darlings.]
laundry room
...Witchcraft...
[So apparently he's going to stage whisper that very loudly and then enter the room.]
Have you learned how to work these strange devices?
[...He's staying waaaaaay over here. Where the washing machine cannot possibly kill him.]
no subject
Anyway.
He'll look over after a moment, though he isn't quite stopping with the...cramming clothes into this thing like he's trying to choke it.]
There you are, Arthur.
[...]
No, that's entirely too dignified. But anyway - it's not going to do anything while the top of it's open, I've worked that much out. Open it in the middle of something and it stops, just like that. So at least it's probably not going to maim people.
no subject
Oh, it stops when it's opened? I hadn't anticipated that. Perhaps it isn't a murder machine.
[Maybe. He's not 100% convinced.]
Have you had any luck using it to wash clothes?
no subject
[In other words, not really.]
It's probably better suited to being used as a murder machine, if you ask me.
no subject
[HE LOOKS TOTALLY REPULSED BUT ALSO EWW, WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT, KING]
no subject
...Let's not try to find out, all right? No reason to even bring that up.
no subject
[y i k e s]
no subject
[That's probably a little more casual than it should be, all things considered.]
no subject
[well this is gonna be hilarious in a week]
no subject
[...is that sarcasm it's hard to tell]
no subject
[...well apparently he's just going to RUN WITH IT so uh.]
no subject
Aren't you guys all about freedom and the open seas?
no subject
[There are so many pirates in such a small amount of space, it's a little claustrophobic...]
no subject
No wonder you're so cheerful around here.

no subject
[no really
this is fascinating]
no subject
[...look at hook, there's something Wrong with that pirate.]
