WEEK 1

[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.

The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.

If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.

Um, first off, why are you openly announcing you're a pirate without hesitation? That's the big one.

Well it's not as though it's a secret. I am the Pirate King! That is both a name and a title. That booklet has information on me anyway, so even if I were to pretend I was not a pirate - which I doubt I could do anyway, as being a pirate is who I am - there would simply be no point!

You seem oddly proud of this.

One must always take pride in one's profession, particularly if it is one they chose for themselves.

I mean.... Unless it involves criminal activity, which I'm assuming yours does.

Oh, it does. But that is certainly not going to keep me from enjoying what I do and letting everyone know of it! Besides, there is nothing to fear from the people of Penzance.

[the police are even more incompetent than the pirates, it's a little sad]

Nothing to fear except the crimes you just admitted to committing.

I am still not seeing anything to fear, there.

Why do you think people shouldn't be worried about, like, being robbed or whatever it is you do?

We do not make a habit of robbing people! Ships, on the other hand... But! Even then we do not target anyone weaker than us! 'Twould be dreadful to harm someone who cannot fight back!

I'm pretty sure it's dreadful either way, but at least you aren't a bully and a pirate, I guess.

Of course not. While there certainly are pirates like that, my crew are not among them!

Second question, where is there only usually not a piano on your ship?

My ship has never had a piano, actually! We simply don't have the room for it. It would have been appreciated though, what with all the singing we do.
