week 1
[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.
The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.
If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.
Enjoy your week, everyone.]
[ooc: This is the last mod post for the week for us! Feel free to start depositing coins in the merch booth if any of your threads have reached that length, so long as they're not with the Balladeer. Remember, song threads mean double coins! There will be no murder this first week so gain all the CR you can while it lasts, darlings.]

[Not even gonna lie, it's all looking pretty useful? Except for this can of crap. Who knows what this can of crap is for, he's not all the way through the tiny print yet.]
This one's pretty Greek to me, though.
[Granted, it's nice that WD-40 is currently the biggest mystery in this building, he supposes.]

"Self-igniting matches"... They're nothing like what I've seen back home. The future is really strange.

[It...could be worse.]
This entire place must seem like the eighth wonder to you, then.

It's really fascinating how much is going to be created in my future back home! But when I go back home I'm going to miss some of this stuff.

[It's brisk, but it's not callous; this place is kind of...well, it's weird as hell but it's convenient, so he gets you.]
You're...Anna, right? The princess who's into love.
[He's butchering the pronunciation on the name, but he's only seen it written down and what the hell is Scandinavia anyway.]
no subject
[She's never actually heard it pronounced the other way.
There's a slight blush on her cheeks as she nods.]
Who wouldn't be? It's one of the greatest things in the world! Love can make miracles happen.
no subject
Isn't it just. One of my favorites, really, depending on the context.
[See: image song. See also: love for fucking money and also the judicial system because look at all those loopholes, and physical love ain't that bad either.
...Billy's kind of like that.]
You found any miracles yet, or is it just something you're hoping for?
no subject
No... but I know I'll find one here.
[Going home would be nice. No one dying would be wonderful. Getting to know a certain someone more would be more than she could have dreamed of.
But no miracles yet.]
Or try and make my own!
