WEEK 1

[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.

The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.

If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.

[Natalie watches for a while as Astarte attempts to play the piano, finally speaking up after several moments.]

You've never played before, have you?

Yeah. That was... kind of hard to listen to.

[Mostly because she knows how to use the instrument correctly.]

You could probably get pointers from someone here.

...Do you know anyone?

[Seriously her playing is...murder]

Not really.

[She could volunteer herself, but... Nah.]

You could probably ask around.

Of course. I just have to think of who might know how to play the piano.

[She looks around. Maybe she can try the recorder in the meantime...]

Maybe the profiles would give you a clue? I haven't really read them yet.

[Which is not at all true, but hey.]

...My pamphlet's in my room. I should look at it again.

Uh, because I don't want to intrude on information some people might prefer to keep private?

...even so. It doesn't seem to matter to whoever did this.

[She frowns.]

Some of what mine said made no sense, anyways. Its not private when its not true, right?

Right, it didn't matter to the people who kidnapped us and want us to murder each other, so it shouldn't matter to us. Of course.

[She gives her a look.]

Depends on the person.

...Well, those people who wrote those things...they want us to feel bad or scared, right? About those private things. It does matter, but...we can't let it...matter...

I guess if that's what works for you, but you shouldn't just assume everyone else is going to feel the same way.

Yeah, there are some things I like not being public knowledge. I guess that's kind of gone out the window, though. Whatever.
