WEEK 1

[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.

The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.

If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.

[Winslow decided to make a job of looking around again as well when he sees...that happening.

She's not so outlandish, honestly. Compared to acts like Beef and the Juicy Fruits she's almost downright normal. It's just what she's doing is so strange.

Winslow scrawls out 'You'll hurt yourself doing that' before letting it clatter to the floor.]

[Eep. She stands up straight, bends down to pick up the note, and goes straight up again.]

I-I-I was just trying to figure out how to get the door open! You-- you know! So nobody's stuck in here! [nervous laugh] Do you, uh, do you have a sore throat or...?

[He slowly picks up the clipboard. Maybe a tad more dramatic than he should have been.

"That's nice of you."

Pause.

"I lost my voice."

Which is the nice way of putting it.]

[sigh] No way... Either way, I can't pick the lock right now. Maybe if I had the Ni-- anyway! We're stuck! It's been two whole days. Where is everyone?

[Poor girl. He understood her frustration.

He scrawled out: "Must not be premiere night yet. They're making us wait. Whatever we're waiting for."

Winslow offers a hand to try open the door.]

You mean like how that man said we could get out eventually. [Hime moves aside and eyes the door.] I don't know what we're supposed to do aside from not kill anyone, because that's horrible! All the programs tell us is how to look and act like ourselves, like we're just made up.
