[ Early on Wednesday, word goes around for everyone to meet in the Boys Bathroom at noon again, for another meeting. This time, with Salieri's help, Peregrine is leading it. ]

Okay, you guys. So, we're all scared, but we're all still here. And now we know we're not alone. For our sake, and...for theirs, let's see what we've learned what we can figure out. ...We're not gonna have another repeat. Not again.

[No response. Not even a flicker in the lights or the sound of the wind picking up outside.]

Answer us! You've stolen us and our friends away, and now you want to play games?!

[ Peregrine squeezes Maya's hand. ]

Maya...

[mayavericks]

[Maya is still and silent for a moment...

... Eventually she squeezes Peregrine's hand back, though.]

I want to make him pay. For all of this.

[Can we safely say we're heading back to the meeting, dears?]

[mayavericks]

[Not if ur gonna keep scaring me like that.

... But yeah, Maya will start leading them that way.]

[Great!

As Maya leads them back down the hall toward the boy's bathroom, there is something that might catch her eye at the band room door.]

[mayavericks]

[Maya stops short. She puts her hand up to motion to the others, before moving her finger to her lips.

Slowly she begins to sneak forward, to examine... Whatever this is at the doorway. Her hand clutches the blade tight.]

[It's nothing large or ominous. There is, thankfully, no terrifying figure waiting in the doorway for them to come around the corner.

No, it's actually quite small. A scrap of fur, laying on the floor of the band room doorway. Almost as if something had gone by in a hurry and gotten snagged.]

[Fur seems more like Peregrine's area of expertise but... Maya is going to lean down and pick it up. How does it look? Any specific patterns or anything?]

[It's just a plain brown, so not Ruddiger's and pretty short but more than Bruiser would shed.

It also feels distinctly synthetic.]

[mayavericks]

[It's not attached to skin or bits, right? Just snagged fur?

Maya will hand it back to Peregrine to look at either way. She'll step further into the band room and look around. Any other signs of fur or disturbed objects?]

[Nope, no skin or bits! What is it attached to feels and looks more like fabric.

As for the rest of the band room, it looks undisturbed.]

[mayavericks]

[Nevertheless, Maya's going further into the room to knock the hilt of her rapier against the walls. Looking for hollow areas, or anything like that.]

[stagemanagers]

[Nope, no hollow areas. It's possible like whatever might have been here either never entered the room or scrambled out while you guys were checking the dorms.

Either way, it feels safe to return to the meeting.]
