Week Three
[Last week, some shit went down! Salieri's scene went off without a hitch, but the good mood didn't last. The first motive was a bit of a doozy, and yet it didn't even have anything to do with the eventual accidental death of Mumble Happyfeet! At least Sissi was already pretty much dating Death anyway, right? She's probably fine, wherever she is.
This week, new menus have been posted in the cafeteria. But, more importantly, it seems that other new information has emerged. Everyone wakes on Sunday with some new memories - or are they old ones? - floating around in their heads. Maybe there was something to your discussions of time travel after all. Maybe there was someting to the Wizard's knowledge of the future.
Regardless, you're still stuck in here. At least there's some new places to explore this week. Maybe you'll find something helpful.]
Sunday | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday
(( Be sure to submit your memory regains and your AC for this week! Hester's office hours and the merch booth also remain available! ))

[On account of he rarely emails people because Larry reads his emails, like an asshole, but also... there’s only one person he’d really email? And realistically, he’d just text Miguel instead. Safer that way.]
I didn’t email anyone on that day. I couldn’t have, there were no electronics in rehab.

[ He's held off on asking about what an email is, since he'd figured by context it was just a word for letters, but that throws him slightly. ]
And you think you would've gotten this letter the same day you would've sent the one it's supposed to be replying to? You think it's someone who lives really nearby?

[ Imagine being able to send letters instantly, through - electricity? Without having to worry about it getting lost on the way, or anything. He's getting off track, though. ]
So it's someone who knows a lot about you, and would... pretend to send you things, when you couldn't respond? Wouldn't they have also known you were in rehab?
[ He considers asking about what Connor was being rehabilitated for, but that seems like it could be really personal? So he doesn't. ]

[To both the questions about email and the questions about this email. He says it absently, shifting the pot of apples around to set it on a nearby table.]
The thing is... the thing is, nobody but my family and the school's disciplinary board knew I was in rehab. [And Miguel, but he wouldn't have told anyone.] It was an embarrassment for hotshot lawyer Larry Murphy, so they kept it quiet.

[ Under different circumstances, Orpheus might understand wanting to keep that kind of thing a secret, stressful and personal as it was. But it doesn't sound like any of that was for Connor's benefit. ]
So why would someone have been pretending you were writing to them when you couldn't have been? I guess you don't know the answer either but - that's really strange.

Yeah. Like, that's the part I don't understand? [He taps the paper.] Fake letter? Kind of unsettling, maybe. Fake letter that has some personal information? The sort of thing the Wizard would pull. Fake letter that's so fake it doesn't even make sense and is actually just confusing for me? What's the point of that?
no subject
I don't really know. I guess it couldn't be from... missing time, like how some of us have been dreaming things that could be the future? If it doesn't make sense for the letter to exist in the first place.
[ He feels more comfortable bringing up the idea now that it sounds like it's not a real possibility. ]
Maybe it's just not worth worrying about. If I get another one out of the machine, do you want me to bring it to you? Or just get rid of it?
