[Last week, some shit went down! Salieri's scene went off without a hitch, but the good mood didn't last. The first motive was a bit of a doozy, and yet it didn't even have anything to do with the eventual accidental death of Mumble Happyfeet! At least Sissi was already pretty much dating Death anyway, right? She's probably fine, wherever she is.

This week, new menus have been posted in the cafeteria. But, more importantly, it seems that other new information has emerged. Everyone wakes on Sunday with some new memories - or are they old ones? - floating around in their heads. Maybe there was something to your discussions of time travel after all. Maybe there was someting to the Wizard's knowledge of the future.

Regardless, you're still stuck in here. At least there's some new places to explore this week. Maybe you'll find something helpful.]

Not the guns. Both the ones I've seen have been real - they were just pistols, though...

[He sets the rifle back down carefully, and sits back on his heels to consider it.]

I don't think I can fit that in the gun locker.

There are pistols here? More than one? [ He doesn't like that either!! ] What are we going to... do with that? We can't just leave it lying around, even if it's not loaded.

I locked mine in my locker. Ben had the other one.

[So, you know. That's probably fine?]

O-okay. I guess if they're not loaded they're not any more dangerous than all the knives in the kitchen? What was that doing in there, though? Do you think it belongs to someone here?

I know who the other one belonged to...I think. He only had one, but there's definitely more than one here...

[Which is weird.]

This, though... [He frowns at it for a moment.] I don't know. Must be someone's, if there's not a bunch of them already.

I was wondering - after the Wizard said all of that stuff about how he didn't start this - if maybe some of the things in the machine belonged to people who were here before us, or people who [ will be ] may come here after us. And there's a lot of stuff in the machine?

[ He looks over at it, warily. ] I just... I don't like it. It's too useful to stop using, but I'm a little afraid of it, honestly.

...oh. Maybe. I haven't recognized anything here from...the people who were in mine, but...

[The Player never mentioned the Wizard. Maybe he did other ones, completely unrelated to her?]

[ Orpheus just shakes his head. ]

I hope I'm wrong. I hope this is all just - stuff? But it's hard not to be afraid, of how long this might've been happening for. Or how long it's planned to keep going on.

...I know there's been other ones. I don't know if they're all related. The Player just mentioned...there had been, before.

Right. How much do you... remember? Of your next play. The one that was supposed to be - like this. I know some people have been remembering things that they didn't before. Did you?

Just a week's worth. Everyone was still doing fine. They had a party, and I got to go!

Oh, good. [ Then again, they lasted a week too, without anyone dying. ] I'm glad you got to go. Do you think - do you think they make it out okay? Or, made it out okay?

[ Verb tense gets weird when you've got rolling memory updates going on okay ]

I think so! It seemed like a good group - there were a couple bad eggs, but they were all on our radar.

[In fairness to him, they did have a pretty large survivor pool!]

[ Orpheus nods. ]

If they could get out, so can we. I'm sure of it. We just have to figure out how the Wizard got us here, and Prince Angus says he should be able to figure out how to reverse it. Or if we can get Lord Discord's powers back, he can bring us all home.

Wait, Angus can do that, too? How?

[Like, he knew about Discord, but.]

He said if there's a machine the Wizard uses, he's familiar enough with the technology that he might be able to figure it out. Lord Discord is probably our safest bet? But it's good to have options.

Boy, not too great when Discord is our safest bet. Yeah, it's good to have options. Though I sort of doubt it's technology - he's not the Mad Scientist.

Right, I wasn't sure about that either. And Lord Discord doesn't seem, um, like the most giving person, all the time? But he did say if we could get his powers back he'd bring us home, and earlier in the week he told me he'd be willing to take us to visit Equestria on the way back. He seemed sincere, at least?

[ Not that Orpheus is the best judge of that, but you know. ]
