Week Three

[Last week, some shit went down! Salieri's scene went off without a hitch, but the good mood didn't last. The first motive was a bit of a doozy, and yet it didn't even have anything to do with the eventual accidental death of Mumble Happyfeet! At least Sissi was already pretty much dating Death anyway, right? She's probably fine, wherever she is.

This week, new menus have been posted in the cafeteria. But, more importantly, it seems that other new information has emerged. Everyone wakes on Sunday with some new memories - or are they old ones? - floating around in their heads. Maybe there was something to your discussions of time travel after all. Maybe there was someting to the Wizard's knowledge of the future.

Regardless, you're still stuck in here. At least there's some new places to explore this week. Maybe you'll find something helpful.]

Oh! Then my friend from home performs Singspiels! We prefer songs based on folk tales with loud narrations to introduce each act.

The Hootsman's voice is one that cannot be matched! [And very unique, if you've never heard metal growling.]

Ah, is that so? [hello yes he is interested] That is quite a claim. Perhaps one day I would like to hear such a thing, if possible?

I hope we have access to the technology that allows The Wizard to reach into other dimensions. Imagine showing your opera to millions of people across dimension! No other artist could make such a claim.

[Even if he does look a lot like one of Angus' closest allies. Hopefully there will be no confusion.]

He may even try out for the part of the wicked father?

[Salieri blinks at that--that certainly was something he hadn't considered]

I...hadn't thought about such a thing, in fact. That would be quite the claim.

[he does chuckle at that bit about trying out]

I would certainly be very interested to have him audition, so I could experience his voice first hand.

You will have to complete writing it first. And make it out of here. [So no more accidents, okay?]

Of course. Both of those I endeavor to do.

[his expression softens a little] And you, as well...I need you to attend the show, of course. If not audition yourself. There are more roles for higher voices, after all.

Gladly, I will audition! How soon will you have the next scene ready?

[boy that sure is a question. Salieri pauses for a moment, looking briefly uncertain, before that expression smooths into something a bit more sheepish] ...soon, hopefully. The past few days have been a bit...difficult, but I am attempting to continue.

[mcfife]

...Right.

But if all goes well, we should remain peaceful enough for another performance.

...my hope is that we sustain this peace. [he chuckles, a little wry] I don't know how anyone could keep their sanity otherwise.
