Week Three

[Last week, some shit went down! Salieri's scene went off without a hitch, but the good mood didn't last. The first motive was a bit of a doozy, and yet it didn't even have anything to do with the eventual accidental death of Mumble Happyfeet! At least Sissi was already pretty much dating Death anyway, right? She's probably fine, wherever she is.

This week, new menus have been posted in the cafeteria. But, more importantly, it seems that other new information has emerged. Everyone wakes on Sunday with some new memories - or are they old ones? - floating around in their heads. Maybe there was something to your discussions of time travel after all. Maybe there was someting to the Wizard's knowledge of the future.

Regardless, you're still stuck in here. At least there's some new places to explore this week. Maybe you'll find something helpful.]

I know how gravity works, Discord. There simply may be differences between universes that I must account for.

...Also, I can defy gravity with spacecraft and jetpacks. It's not that impossible.

And I can defy it with the snap of my fingers, yes, it's easy. But I was hoping for something a little more interesting. Fighting the laws of physics more literally, perhaps.

I prefer to leave the gods of physics alone. They are not my foes.

Gods are the most powerful beings in the universe. Why taunt them?

And you? Do you wish to fight the god of physics directly?

Oh, no, the fighting and slaying thing is more your speed, isn't it?

As if I'd worry about any gods, anyway.

You must be as power as them if your domain is disorder and chaos.

[He props the book up with the bottom resting on the table and the text directly facing Angus. He drops his head so his face is obscured by the front and back of the book.]

Oh, I'm ridiculously powerful, let's not even get into all of that. There's no gods like that in my dimension, though.

Then what kinds of gods are you aligned with?

Oh, none at all!

Just power over all reality. So, you know, nothing that impressive.

And what do you do again? You just fight things?

Then you are a god.

Or just a wizard.

And I slay wicked wizards when I am not ruling Fife. [He's a prince he doesn't do much yet.]

Oh, no wizard could ever handle my kind of power. They'd lose their minds immediately.

...Which would be a little funny, I'll admit.

But they're not all that difficult to defeat.

Just what are you?

A draconequus, usually, but that term won't mean much to anyone here.

I'm a spirit of chaos and disharmony. So, about as literal of an embodiment as chaos as you can get!

[mcfife]

[You're not helping his opinion of you. So Angus was right in that "Discord" was a spirit's name, and one who embodies everything Angus has vowed to fight.]

So a sort of demi-god. Just one that strives to make our lives difficult.

[Ugh.]

Do you know how many deaths your adherents have caused?

[disharmonizes]

Interesting, not difficult.

And I'm hardly at fault for anything anyone in your dimension gets up to. That's not my jurisdiction. I'm sure wherever you're from there's some other chaos being pulling on people's strings.

We have plenty of that without help outside of the mortal realm, thank you very much.

That sounds like a you problem. Maybe you should try to fight it! That'll go great, I'm sure.
