Week Three
[Last week, some shit went down! Salieri's scene went off without a hitch, but the good mood didn't last. The first motive was a bit of a doozy, and yet it didn't even have anything to do with the eventual accidental death of Mumble Happyfeet! At least Sissi was already pretty much dating Death anyway, right? She's probably fine, wherever she is.
This week, new menus have been posted in the cafeteria. But, more importantly, it seems that other new information has emerged. Everyone wakes on Sunday with some new memories - or are they old ones? - floating around in their heads. Maybe there was something to your discussions of time travel after all. Maybe there was someting to the Wizard's knowledge of the future.
Regardless, you're still stuck in here. At least there's some new places to explore this week. Maybe you'll find something helpful.]

(( Be sure to submit your memory regains and your AC for this week! Hester's office hours and the merch booth also remain available! ))

After that was breakfast, and then a trip to the concession stand. Come on, no blood chunks... No blood chunks...! Bingo! Cassandra's got a new haul to sort through. And what a haul it is.]
No way!
[An honest, genuine gasp escapes her lips as they curve upwards. Her eyes alight as they lay upon the blade in the pile; it's so familiar, sleek and well-maintained. It's Cassandra's, of course. One of them, anyway.
She spends the rest of the afternoon, into the evening, squaring away the items obtained from the vending machine. Mainly in the form of a well-organized pile in Longacre.
Then! It's back to the gym... 2! Where, with very real sword in hand, Cassandra is practicing her thrusts and parries. It's not easy training with herself - it's a fight she has ever chance to win, and little way to lose. No stakes. Still, she's hard at work.
...Of course, half the training seems to be Cassandra attempting to dance around the strange little thing eagerly trotting around her feet.]
Concession
Varian is here, possibly grabbing a snack, or maybe just passing by, when he spies Cassandra lifting up a blade that glints in the flourescent light of the cafeteria. Yep, looks like Cassandra's alright.]
Friend of yours?
no subject
Oh, you could say that.
[Amusement lines her tone, she's running her fingers over the flat end of the blade, watching how the lights dance with each little shift.]
Yup. This is definitely one of mine. I'd recognize it anywhere.
no subject
[Cassandra is capable with a blade, he knows. He can't say as much about himself, or some of the others...Maya would be fine with it, he thinks.]
I guess it was only a matter of time before they started giving us real weapons, huh...
[Wizard probably thought the first death was too boring. Too little blood spilled.]
no subject
The Wizard probably got bored with waiting for us to murder each other [Cassandra lowers her sword. Just the thought of running someone through with it was... She loved a good fight! But not to kill. Not even with Hector did she intentionally want to...]
Something tells me he definitely doesn't want us to last the full eight weeks here.
no subject
[But maybe that wouldn't have been as fun. Gotta drag it out, you know.]

Gym 2: Gym Harder
He wear light clothes from the costume room and the red cloak from the vending machine - the closest thing to his regal cape. Thankfully, he won't be alone tonight.]
Hail to you, Cassandra! [He lifts the Hammer of Glory up high.] And her guest?
no subject
Angus. [Cassandra nods in greeting. She's dressed in light workout attire as well, light for easy movement.] Oh yeah, this little guy came out of the machine. He's been following me around all day - he's harmless.
[The "little guy" topples over from spinning around too much. Meanwhile, her eyes alight at the sight of what he's holding.]
What have you go there?
no subject
This...is the Hammer of Glory. Forged by ancient gods of warfare. Wrought of lasers from the sun. A gift from the ancient Starlords from times of old, passed down through the McFife bloodline for generations
[It's been recently wiped free of pink dust, too.]
With this, I can finally fight The Wizard on equal footing.
no subject
[She wants to crack wise about it, so badly. But there's a part of her that's... intrigued.]
Heh, alright. Sounds like one heck of a hammer! [She nods to him.] But, can you use it?
no subject
[He gives it a few practice swings.]
But it would hurt if I struck you with such force. How about dodging practice for now?

The SQUIP would normally study her swordplay- but for now, it's kind of dubiously staring at the creatures by Cass's feet]
no subject
And then it lays eyes on the SQUIP.
pat pat pat patpatpatpatpatpatpatpat
It's coming, SQUIP.]
no subject
Just. Staring down at the thing.
Up at Cass.
Down at it.
Resists the urge to draw back a foot]This is...yours?
no subject
[He looks up at SQUIP, lil head tilting quizzically. Tilting, tilting.
It falls over.]
Apparently, Elsa made them.

just gonna go ahead and pick it up, then, to set it back on its feet]
It is interesting that they have living creatures within it.

Gym
When she picks up on the sound of someone in the gym, her curiosity is piqued, and she takes a look inside...
And she just sort of. Watches. She's seen guards fight before, but there's something about the way Cassandra moves that holds her attention. It's not quite like a softly moving river, but more like the sharp, steady flow of a rapid. Cassandra looks dangerous, but at the same time... it's comforting, knowing that this is a force of protection. Seeing Cassandra like this makes her feel safe. And.... curious, with the way she's stepping around like that. What is she-
Oh.]
Oh!
[She'd meant to announce herself properly, but the sight of the little snowman startles Elsa.]
Where did he come from???
no subject
The routine also helped her stay focused. She had time to think. To plan...
At least when she isn't distracted by tiny little snowmen... or the sudden intrusion of a queen. But that's... fine, isn't it? The sword in her hand feels right, and so did the swift, precise movements she'd trained to do dozens of times before. Even dancing around the snowgie, there's a certain grace to Cassandra. Solid, but smooth.]
Oh!
[Her swing halts, pulling Cassandra into a bit of a stumble. The little guy is hopping around because suddenly we're moving differently!!! what's happening?? What's- Oh!!!!
Elsa, you've got a snowgie running up to you on his stubby little legs.]
Elsa, hey. [Sword lowered, running a hand through her tousled hair.] That little guy was inside the concession stand machine... if you can believe that.
no subject
Hm.
Elsa shakes her head to clear that sudden bit of fog clogging it up and stands.]
Honestly, with everything else that pops out of that machine, I'm not surprised. But this... [She gently pokes the little coal button on his belly, laughing at the way the snowgie squirms.] This is, ah... something I accidentally made years ago.
no subject
Wait, you made this? [She understands that Elsa has powers, but... creating life is included on the list? But it does make a certain amount of sense.] Elsa, that's... amazing!
no subject
It's a little less amazing when you know just what they are. They're, ah... [... Look just admit it, who knows what might happen in the future here! They need to be prepared if something happens like this again!] I got... sick, once. Nothing better, just a cold. But these little guys here popped up every time I... well. Sneezed.
[She's gone from looking sheepish to flat out embarrassed now.]

You're really good at this!

Thanks. [She smiles, chest stuffed with pride, if a bit sheepishly. Applause, really....] I've trained a long time to wield a sword correctly. I was a little worried I'd get rusty staying here without any of my weapons.

[Is that bitterness on the end of her voice? No, can't be. Surely.]
Joining Corona's, royal guard with my dad is sort of... I guess you could call it my dream? But I think it's my destiny.
