Week One

[Yesterday, everyone woke up in a strange place and realized that they'd been kidnapped, and also that everyone else around them may or may not be kinnies? Wow, what a weird escalation of kin drama! Given what some people have seen of Spongebob's freaky arm thing, though, maybe it's not that at all?

Your Assistant Director, Hester, showed off her stuff and immediately had her life threatened by Lumpy Space Princess, who got her life threatened right back. Maybe you should keep that in mind if you decide to pay Hester any more visits! She won't be making another public appearance this week, but as promised, she'll be available for visits and consultation in the Principal's Office during business hours.

If you don't want to chat with Hester, there's always the school to explore! Some of you might also be receiving mysterious coins next to your bedside this week - those must be useful for something, right? There's lots to do, and you all seem like a group who can make your own fun, so enjoy your first week of school!]

Ah, well...I thought I'd work on a commission that's been passed off to me. If I'm going to be here, I might as well get something done.

And you, Monsieur...[Salieri casts his thoughts back to the Yearbook, which he's looked over more than enough times to memorize the little information in it]...Monsieur Squarepants? [a very odd name to be sure, but he's hardly the only one.]

[He's beaming at the idea that someone here could be an artist.]

You can call me Spongebob! I was thinking of playing around in the Costume room after this! It's been so long since I played dress up.

[He played dress up a week ago.]

[Well that was...not the answer he was expecting]

...oh? [a pause] What sorts of occasions do you dress up for? [because he's definitely thinking some sort of ball or something lol]

Oh really? You should meet my friend Squidward! He's an aspiring musician and I think he could use some good pointers.

[He laughs.]

You don't need an occasion to dress up! You just do it for fun! See what kind of crazy outfits you can find! You should try it sometime.

[boy, if he had a nickle for every time he heard about "aspiring musician friends," he'd be confused because he doesn't know what nickles are, but at least he'd have a lot of them.]

I see. [DRYLY. That second bit throws him once again for a bit of a loop] Ah...did you mean dressing up in costume, then?

Granted Salieri would have the biggest uphill climb if he ever helped Squidward.]

Exactly! There's nothing more fun than dressing up in neat costumes and playing pretend! We should to it together sometime!

But unfortunately, such displays do not affect Salieri. Not for such a thing as dress up, anyway.

Aww, that's alright! There's always another time. We got a lot of time to bond together, anyway.

[Salieri is Unsure of how to feel about that statement, but he'll just move past that for now and note it for later]

That is certainly true. It doesn't seem like we are going anywhere soon.

Of course! I need to think of a lotta fun activities for us to do in the meanwhile!

So what fun things are you gonna do today instead?

Compose, most likely. Possibly tune that fortepiano that I spotted earlier, if I can find the proper tools.

Oh you play piano too? I got one back in my pineapple house! Maybe once we get out of here we can have a duet together!
