Week One

[Yesterday, everyone woke up in a strange place and realized that they'd been kidnapped, and also that everyone else around them may or may not be kinnies? Wow, what a weird escalation of kin drama! Given what some people have seen of Spongebob's freaky arm thing, though, maybe it's not that at all?

Your Assistant Director, Hester, showed off her stuff and immediately had her life threatened by Lumpy Space Princess, who got her life threatened right back. Maybe you should keep that in mind if you decide to pay Hester any more visits! She won't be making another public appearance this week, but as promised, she'll be available for visits and consultation in the Principal's Office during business hours.

If you don't want to chat with Hester, there's always the school to explore! Some of you might also be receiving mysterious coins next to your bedside this week - those must be useful for something, right? There's lots to do, and you all seem like a group who can make your own fun, so enjoy your first week of school!]

Well, I'm always one to encourage spontaneity. [He's gonna grab some brushes and hand one over to Mumble.] Take a brush, pick a color, and go to town, I say!

[Mumble takes the brush in his not-beak and looks around at the walls.]

Just...’go to town’?

[It’s muffled on account of having a brush in his mouth.

He bobs down and dunks the brush in the bright green paint. Then, he starts awkwardly slapping it on the walls.]

[Oh no, this is genuinely delightful.]

An excellent start! Just keep that up until we get some color in this place, hm?

[As he's just painting some orange polka dots on the wall himself.]

[Determined nod! Mumble continues to splash colour on the walls, dipping the brush in different colours after each stroke. Compared to Discord’s lovely polka-dots, his painting more of a ‘Jackson Pollock’ vibe.]

Y’know - [Splash splash.] - this is pretty fun!

[He can’t explain it - it’s one of those weird things.]

Are we gonna do the whole school?

It is, isn't it? Usually I'm not quite so hands on with these things, but there's something to be said for doing things old school, I suppose.

And your work is very inspired, I must say.

[Very nice random splashes! Everything he could've hoped for.]

But, yes, why not! I mean, it wouldn't do for only some of the walls to look interesting.

That's what I was thinking! [He goes for some pink now. A little bit of blue.] It'll brighten everyone's spirits up better that way, too!

It's important to make your own fun. Especially in situations like these.

[More Jackson Pollock-ing. Despite his suggestion, he’s still painting.]

Oh, yes, of course. Different dimension. [He has to actually like introduce himself. Wild.] Discord. Lord of Chaos, Spirit of Disharmony, Purveyor of Pandemonium, and more fun titles that wouldn't all fit on a business card.

[He also hasn’t discovered the yearbooks yet. It’s a world of setbacks.]

That’s a lot of titles. [kinda impressive.] Do you have a preference?

Oh, whatever you feel like, I tend to switch it up a lot anyway.

I'm gonna go with Discord. It's snappier.

[Easier to say with a paintbrush in your mouth.]

How'd you earn all of them?

[As if one needs to ask, but...]

Just by being myself, of course! If you're amazing enough, titles just sort of happen.

[Also overthrowing a kingdom and throwing it into chaos helps or something.]

Oh. [It's not great to not be appreciated.] Well. Here I am. [He makes a gesture to Discord with both arms.] Telling you you're impressive.

[Mumble says with a half-nod and a tone of reassurance. As if trying to coach Discord on how to handle this kind of situation.]

...Ugh, no, that felt all sorts of wrong. Much too touchy-feely.
