Week One

[Yesterday, everyone woke up in a strange place and realized that they'd been kidnapped, and also that everyone else around them may or may not be kinnies? Wow, what a weird escalation of kin drama! Given what some people have seen of Spongebob's freaky arm thing, though, maybe it's not that at all?

Your Assistant Director, Hester, showed off her stuff and immediately had her life threatened by Lumpy Space Princess, who got her life threatened right back. Maybe you should keep that in mind if you decide to pay Hester any more visits! She won't be making another public appearance this week, but as promised, she'll be available for visits and consultation in the Principal's Office during business hours.

If you don't want to chat with Hester, there's always the school to explore! Some of you might also be receiving mysterious coins next to your bedside this week - those must be useful for something, right? There's lots to do, and you all seem like a group who can make your own fun, so enjoy your first week of school!]

It certainly has charm. [She lifts up a feather boa, twists it in her hands a few times, before setting it down.]

Are you looking for something in particular?

Usually it'd be something to really accentuate my lumps, but I'm stuck in this weird bod.

[Normal things to say, apparently.]

[She inspects a fairly 80's-looking jacket with shoulder pads sharp enough to cut someone.]

Eh... maybe.

Do you... think you're a sponge too?

No? What do sponges have to do with anything?

[She hasn't really plumbed the depths of Spongebob conversation just yet.]

...Are you calling me some kind of janitor or something?

No, no. [She's very quick to say that. Maya's been here little more than 24 hours but she has already learned not to invoke LSPs wrath.]

One of the other people here believes he's a Sponge, that's all.

[Calling her a janitor is more likely to just make her real catty rather than, like, earn an attempted knifing. But no one needs another outburst of any kind, honestly.]

That's a weird thing to want to be. Sponges just get wet and dirty and start smelling all grody.

I am inclined to agree. But he seemed... content with his existence. And I suppose he isn't hurting anyone?

He thinks he's a sponge, what's he gonna do, lumping scrub a shower at us?

Or attempt to murder us with his removable arms.

That'd be dumb. You need arms to hold stuff, taking one off would just make it harder to lumping hit anything.
