Week One

[Yesterday, everyone woke up in a strange place and realized that they'd been kidnapped, and also that everyone else around them may or may not be kinnies? Wow, what a weird escalation of kin drama! Given what some people have seen of Spongebob's freaky arm thing, though, maybe it's not that at all?

Your Assistant Director, Hester, showed off her stuff and immediately had her life threatened by Lumpy Space Princess, who got her life threatened right back. Maybe you should keep that in mind if you decide to pay Hester any more visits! She won't be making another public appearance this week, but as promised, she'll be available for visits and consultation in the Principal's Office during business hours.

If you don't want to chat with Hester, there's always the school to explore! Some of you might also be receiving mysterious coins next to your bedside this week - those must be useful for something, right? There's lots to do, and you all seem like a group who can make your own fun, so enjoy your first week of school!]

[ The vote of no confidence in that look she's giving him is a little discouraging, and Orpheus's expression sinks a bit as well. He has put some thought into what will happen if things go wrong, at Eurydice's prompting, but he has such a hard time imagining it. ]

We can get out of here if we work together, I'm sure of it. [ He lightens up a little bit, looking at the woman with determination. ] We just have to figure out what the Wizard really wants from us and show them that what they're trying to do isn't going to work.

[She is fraught with concern, for not just herself; for him, and her, and the others she's met. For Elsa. The number of people who deserved this ironic prison was so small, Cassandra could count the faces off one hand. If they could all be sent back to their homes, that would be the best outcome, surely.]

Right, the Wizard. [She repeats it low. She really is happy for a change of subject - despite the pout.] First, we'd have to actually find them.

Miss Hester said we couldn't talk to them yet, which means they might be planning on it at some point? I know that's not much to go on, but it's hard to find beings that powerful unless they want to be found.

[ If they're truly a god, like Orpheus suspects, then they could be anyone, anything. One of them, the birds at the window, the breeze. ]

I'm not giving up, though. There's got to be some way to draw them out, that doesn't involve anyone getting hurt.
