Week One
[Yesterday, everyone woke up in a strange place and realized that they'd been kidnapped, and also that everyone else around them may or may not be kinnies? Wow, what a weird escalation of kin drama! Given what some people have seen of Spongebob's freaky arm thing, though, maybe it's not that at all?
Your Assistant Director, Hester, showed off her stuff and immediately had her life threatened by Lumpy Space Princess, who got her life threatened right back. Maybe you should keep that in mind if you decide to pay Hester any more visits! She won't be making another public appearance this week, but as promised, she'll be available for visits and consultation in the Principal's Office during business hours.
If you don't want to chat with Hester, there's always the school to explore! Some of you might also be receiving mysterious coins next to your bedside this week - those must be useful for something, right? There's lots to do, and you all seem like a group who can make your own fun, so enjoy your first week of school!]
Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday | Saturday
(( OOC: This will be the last mod post for this week! Feel free to start submitting regains for any threads that aren't with Hester. Remember, song threads mean an extra coin! This is a peace week, so get all that CR while you can! ))

Anyway, that bit of conundrum gives Salieri pause, and he's folding his arms, studying the Balladeer as he considers what the whole situation from his point of view might be like.]
...that does sound rather overwhelming. [he pauses again, weighing his words] Though I would say, in spite of you not being a real person, as you've said...perhaps you're much closer to one now than you've ever been before. And as such, you're a bit spoiled for choice, not only in instrument usage--[a little levity, glancing at the instruments around them]--but in what you'd like to do in the day to day. In comparison to what you were doing before. [they're still rather restricted here, of course]
With all that in mind...might I make a suggestion?

[That's all given the Balladeer a little bit to chew over - but of course, he's accustomed to other people telling him what to do. Maybe not usually directly, but more-or-less.]

[....]
That is to say...you do not have to make so many decisions all at once. Start by simply choosing what you'll have for breakfast that day, or add something different to your outfit from the costume shop. Such decisions are consequential to you, but in the overall scheme of those of us who are used to constantly making decisions, they are completely regular and most of the time we hardly think about it before doing so.
And...if you need a respite from such things, you can always ask someone to choose for you once in a while.

That...makes sense. I mean, I got some clothes from the costume shop, but Elle picked them all. I figure she knows what looks good together, anyway. And I've been making my own lunches, but Spongebob always does breakfast. Other than that...well, I've got your scene to work on, right?
[Just easing into things, maybe. Gradual-like. The Balladeer smiles, smaller and softer than one of his typical grins.]
I appreciate it - you...taking me seriously, I mean. I know a lot of people here think I'm...weird, or probably crazy.

Monsieur Balladeer, I have met many a strange people here. Some from other time periods, some from completely different histories, or worlds I don't recognize. [he chuckles a little] Your situation might be a strange one but at the moment, I think that is true for all of us. The ways that it is strange simply varies from person to person. It would be rather unfair of me to single you out as the single untruth here.

Well, if I'm gonna be around real people, it's nice to be treated like one. Even the Player - my new friend, she's running my new show - we've hung out, and that's been really nice! But we both know what we are.
[It's all been to prep for the show, after all. They aren't just...people, living day-to-day like here.]
Maybe I should try and take advantage of this, before I have to go back to work. I never really thought something like this would happen.

[Well. Maybe that's a little dark.]
What would you do? If you...well, I don't know how long we'll be here, but it can't be all that long.

Perhaps...I think I would attempt to try as many desserts as possible.

Really? Well, that's a good idea! I haven't had very many - haven't had much of a lot of food.
[Should he become a foodie?]
