Week One

[Yesterday, everyone woke up in a strange place and realized that they'd been kidnapped, and also that everyone else around them may or may not be kinnies? Wow, what a weird escalation of kin drama! Given what some people have seen of Spongebob's freaky arm thing, though, maybe it's not that at all?

Your Assistant Director, Hester, showed off her stuff and immediately had her life threatened by Lumpy Space Princess, who got her life threatened right back. Maybe you should keep that in mind if you decide to pay Hester any more visits! She won't be making another public appearance this week, but as promised, she'll be available for visits and consultation in the Principal's Office during business hours.

If you don't want to chat with Hester, there's always the school to explore! Some of you might also be receiving mysterious coins next to your bedside this week - those must be useful for something, right? There's lots to do, and you all seem like a group who can make your own fun, so enjoy your first week of school!]

Dance Room

[Well, nobody was around for a while at least. Varian isn't the first person to catch Farrah though, so his arrival probably won't be as much of a surprise. No, he comes walking in while she's dancing, which prompts him to stop close to the wall so he can watch without getting in her way.]

Man, is it just me, or can most of you people dance?

[Varian got the short end of the stick on that deal.]

[AND WHEN SHE GETS THE CHAAAAAAANCEEEE---- SHE IS.... no longer dancing. She freezes, and gives Varian a look, as she tries to calculate precisely how long he's been there. Too long to deny anything, from the look of it.]

What can I say? Sorry, for Party Rockin.

Oh, hey, don't let me stop you! I'm serious, I think it's pretty cool actually.

[He knows he sounds sarcastic on a good day, but he is really quite impressed with the talents on display here.]

I'm...what you'd call a little clumsy, so. It's not something that comes to me all that naturally.

Anyone can dance, with enough alcohol. [She grins mischievously, though she's ignoring the point that she's sober right now.]

You just clear your cup, wait for the right song, and then--- [Ah! The chorus!]

You can dance!
You can jive!
Have the time of your life! [Uh oh. Is she. Approaching him? And trying to grab his wrist and pull him away from the wall? Yeah, she is.]

[Varian had been completely content to watch and cheer her on from the sidelines...until he's inevitably pulled in, finding himself stumbling forward at Farrah's urging.]

W-woah, hey!

[And here he is suddenly in the middle of the dance floor. At least with Maya the dancing she was doing was slower, this is just a recipe for Varian breaking his neck.]

What alcohol-!

[Farrah snorts, seemingly unphased by his fear. She's more aggressive than Maya, but her dancing is much more on the fly--]

Whatever you want. We don't have any now, obvs, but you can just do whatever.
Be the dancing Queen! [..... she's gonna try and spin him]

[Her spinning will be successful! Varian almost trips up, but he manages to catch himself before disaster can strike. And like, he's not a total stick in the mud. That does make him laugh a little, in spite of himself.]

I'd be a dancing king, thank you very much.

[Farrah laughs too, though if it's because she's having fun, or because he almost fell is a mystery. But she doesn't tease him-- she's not a total bitch all the time, at least, not on purpose. So she sings again, throwing her arms open as if to presnt him to the world.]

The dancing kiiiiiing!

[You know what? Just for that, Varian will join her in singing, his voice not quite what one might expect from someone his age.]
