Week One

[Yesterday, everyone woke up in a strange place and realized that they'd been kidnapped, and also that everyone else around them may or may not be kinnies? Wow, what a weird escalation of kin drama! Given what some people have seen of Spongebob's freaky arm thing, though, maybe it's not that at all?

Your Assistant Director, Hester, showed off her stuff and immediately had her life threatened by Lumpy Space Princess, who got her life threatened right back. Maybe you should keep that in mind if you decide to pay Hester any more visits! She won't be making another public appearance this week, but as promised, she'll be available for visits and consultation in the Principal's Office during business hours.

If you don't want to chat with Hester, there's always the school to explore! Some of you might also be receiving mysterious coins next to your bedside this week - those must be useful for something, right? There's lots to do, and you all seem like a group who can make your own fun, so enjoy your first week of school!]

[ It looks too small to be a camera, to him, and how much use would photography be for keeping track of people, anyway? Is someone looking through it directly, somehow? ]

It's a video camera! Wherever we are, technology and magic have advanced enough to create these devices that watch our every move!

[Cassandra's head pokes up from under a table. She's rubbing her scalp tenderly.]

So, basically you're saying they'll know when we attempt to do anything.

Yes. Wherever there is a camera, The Wizard can scry into the room and witness our actions.

We have found only one. If he were smart, he would have multiple hidden around the building. If we have the right tools, we can destroy any we come across!

[And he runs into the tool room.]

[For the second time this week, Angus removes all of the tools from their storage and climbs up tables, glaring at the ceiling.]

They are small. Wherever they are hidden, it may be difficult to see them.

And we only found this one with a little help.

[She follows him, taking the move to grip the table, in case it shakes under Angus.]

We'll have to be diligent.

The kitchen, the cafeteria, any place where we may gather. The Wizard doesn't want us to successfully revolt.

[Where! Are! The! Cameras!]

Keep your eyes open. There should be at least one in every room.

Video? Like, the movies?

[ It sure sounds like it, but that's bizarre to think about. How could they fit the reels in something that small? He guesses a lot of technology here is unfamiliar, though, and there'll be time to question that later. Now there's more pressing issues, like, for example - ]

Are there video cameras in every room? Or just this one?
