[That was...an absolute shitshow. More beloved friends are dead in a mess of a trial that's left Angus half the man he was, Riley in a free fall and the Phantom...somehow still standing despite taking two stabs to the torso.
When you wake on Sunday, you'll find that you've recovered another one of those memories - or had another dream, if you still wanna be in denial about it. The door blocking the stairwell on the second floor has been unsealed. You can now venture up to the third floor! You have so much space now, it's just a shame it's all come at the cost of eight lives.
But despite the tragedy you have made progress! The trip into the Phantom's lair yielded some hints to the past of the Opera House, your house manager's apparently grim hobby and the possibility of an ally outside the Opera House. Who knows what this week will bring?]

And it didn't change anything. Not just beyond the obvious, the lusterless wings still incapable of flight. It didn't bring any salvation here in the opera house, either. Riley was still gone. Everyone was still broken.
What it does bring is the lyrics he could not remember, the sound of Ariel's voice reaching truth. The truth that even Mephisto could now understand. The truth that he repeats aloud.]

Until it breaks your heart
[And now, in some cruel twist of fate, he understands that more than ever. He can feel that truth presence not just in the warm weight beside him, but in the cold, yawning emptiness in his chest.
Those lyrics weigh heavily in his heart as he rises for the day, retreating from Stephen's room, wearing one of his shirts, of course. It takes some doing to arrange his wing properly, and he hopes that Stephen won't mind the open gash in the back of it too terribly.
He spends his first hours in the cemetery, searching for Riley's grave and, once he finds it, laying the bear atop it. The feather is planted in the ground beside it, matched by a twin on the opposite side that he plucks from his wing.
He's not sure how long he spends there. He isn't even sure when he leaves. But he eventually finds himself in the chapel, kneeling down. He looks up at the stained glass window, and then beyond it. He clasps his hands together but... no, that doesn't feel right. He releases them just as quickly and stands back up. It isn't long until he's simply... speaking to the ceiling.]
I won't beg you for mercy. I won't beg to be back in your good graces. I only ask that whatever revulsion you have for me, you spare her. Don't damn her for what she could not control. For the burden you gave her.
Grant me that, in the place of our deal. As mercy on her soul.
[He isn't sure that he's heard, but... he feels better saying it. He leaves the chapel feeling marginally better. Well enough to do a little exploration, at least. Most of what's new here is... a little beyond his abilities, but he can at least take the time to sit on the edge of the hot tub and soak his legs.]

[She- Gregor- Stephen somehow finds sleep again, but it's not easy. Despite the body next to him, he feels...alone.
The emotion lingers when he wakes. When he goes to the dining hall for breakfast, he seems still tired - but that's understandable, given the recent events, isn't it? At least he's got clean bandages on, and he seems in just a little less pain than the day before. Progress is...progress, he guesses.
He also visits the cemetery. Lingering by...all the graves - even Angus's - but longest by Riley and Sigyn's. After a while, he just...sits down by the latter, and starts...]

[Anyone passing nearby in the morning might be drawn in by the sound of sobbing, relieved laughter.]
[Steven's still outside most of the rest of the morning, tending to the newly marked graves. All of them now have flowers, transplanted from the garden, planted near the headstones.]
[The kinds of flowers vary; Angus has just a few pale lilies growing next to his stone. Spinel has been given a huge variety, though if someone thinks to look they'll find a very deliberate lack of roses or pink flowers here.]

When Shilo leaves her room, she's... different, somehow. Not as drastically as, say, Mephisto, but she walks with a lot more purpose than she used to?
The first place she walks with purpose to is, uh. The kitchen, where she can be found dumping the meds the Phantom gave her into the sink!*
(*Please don't try this at home, kids, real meds are important. Also, cw uh. abuse talk? and repo spoilers.)
From there, she goes up to explore the new floor! Some of the rooms catch her attention for a little bit - but the thing she seems most excited by is the pool. Almost enough to forget that she doesn't... know how to swim, rip. So she spends a while, after finding the swimsuits and changing into one, sitting by the edge of the pool with her feel dangling in. She seems to be, in fact, All About This.
In the evening, she heads out to the graveyard, because of course she does, and lays some flowers at a few of the graves. She sits down next to one of the blank ones, leaning up against it and holding one of the flowers she brought out, and sings, softly. ]

This feeling is true...
It should be another reason to hate Jeremy, but the thought of that sends her rushing to the bathroom, coughing and retching until one taste is masked with the acidic taste of her stomach's contents.
After that, though, she's back to patrolling. The new floor should be an excitement, but she really just pops her head in each room, looks for anything amiss before moving on. The smell of the bakery just makes her dizzy, anyways. She heads back down to the dressing rooms, and she might accidentally run into a few people, as she knocks gently on each door, tries the doorknob if she doesn't hear a response.
Probably what's oddest about the way she's taken on her bodyguard duties is how... silent she is. She doesn't say a word. Even when she runs into someone, she just nods slowly, ticking off a mental box, one more person safe and accounted for before she does it all again in an hour. Between that and her outfit, the long wolf's pelt and her historically appropriate Juliet's dress, you'd likely be forgiven for mistaking her for a ghost.
She's done with impassioned speeches and emotional tirades. It's very clear to her no one's been listening. Her microphone has been turned off, and the stage lights have already focused in on another scene, one without her.
It isn't until late that night that she maybe takes a break from patrolling, heading out to the graveyard. It's here that she actually makes the most noise, perhaps just by virtue of needing the sound to remind herself she's alive. She starts by taping letters to each of the graves. She lights candles as well, tries not to think of the ones that had been burning at the chapel. As she moves between each of the markers, she hums quietly to herself.]

Just kidding. Well, mostly. From morning until late afternoon, Anne is in the roller rink. Anne is in the roller rink with the four rolls of glo-tape she stole from a dead girl's room, and she is decking the place out with it. She's got these goofy green sunglasses on-- shocker, the glow, and--- a giant ruff, that also glows, and if you're lucky, you might even catch her with the lights off to admire the glowy roller skating empire she's created.
Or you might catch her flickering the light switch on and off multiple times to create a strobe effect. You never know.
After that, she makes her way briefly to the kitchen to feed Tad Cooper a healthy lunch, and after that, she can be found chillin' at the pool, either with her feet in the water, or in the hot tub with her sun glasses on. Tad Cooper hangs out nearby, because dragon or not, he is baby, and baby does not go in the hot tub.]

Maybe he judges you. Who knows.]

That afternoon, Santana will check out the arcade. She's not super interested in the video games, since those are for nerds, but she does immediately gravitate towards that little basketball game. After a few minutes of shooting hoops, she starts to get really into it! For better or for worse, this means she's shouting at it. ]
Yeah, that's right, you flimsy piece of junk! You thought you'd be able to beat me? Well, sorry, but your heyday was at least thirty years ago, 'cause Santana Lopez is back! In! Town!
[ Santana's evening, on the other hand, is much more somber. The trial was too fresh for Santana to go here yesterday, but Monday night, she pays a visit to Riley's grave, sitting in front of it cross-legged and speaking softly. ]
Hey, uh. I know people have been bringing you flowers and stuff, but I don't have any of that and, you know, that'd be weird as hell, coming from me. So I'm bringing you the Opera House's hottest gossip, and you better be listening to me, 'cause like, first of all, if you're not, that's super rude, and second of all, the gossip queen of Lima Heights doesn't offer her services to just anybody.
[ She'll go on to talk to the headstone about all the new rooms on the third floor, her training with Stephen, the octokitten name suggestion box, Steven's hilarious grease fire, and Anne's glowing roller rink decorations. Santana isn't sure if she actually believes that Riley can hear all this. Still, it's a nice thought, and Santana pretends it's true, just for a little while. ]

It's somewhat ironic: to finally tell people what she'd been doing with her repeated wins as Top Star and then have a memory of her losing to the one person who had never been in any of her previous cycles. Not knocked out of the auditions yet, but not exactly unbeatable anymore either. Things no longer going the way they were SUPPOSED to...
She told herself for weeks that Claudine may have just been from another timeline. Maybe she was just jumping to a different timeline every time she rewound time. But now she's not so sure. Maybe her Starlight... really is over.
When she leaves her room finally her hair is down and not in its usual banana bunch pigtails-- and that's the way it'll stay for the rest of the week.
She decides to explore the third floor and finds herself drawn immediately to the bakery. She hasn't been in a mood to bake all weekend but maybe she should make something...
She also stops at the merch booth briefly and gets something important to her, but she doesn't have time to really process her feelings on it when the meeting is called. After the meeting though, she puts it on without hesistation.
She is a Stage Girl after all.
She eventually finds herself in the dance studio again, looking at herself in the mirror and thinking about Claudine and the ghost encounter at the meeting. ]

[The motive today is hardly so atmospheric as the last. The Phantom does deliver an announcement, at least, that you are all to meet him in the lobby. It’s hardly a surprise at this point, is it? So, when you get there, there’s to be no fanfare today - he’s just gonna get right into it.]

For a few hours he's in the Computer Room, trying to follow up with his promise to Claudine on finding anything about 'Evan'. Hard to do when he's literally pecking keys one at a time, and changing computers every so often as if that'll change what he finds, but. He's trying, okay??

At the end of the day, he's briefly out in the grounds, but trying to stargaze is just giving him a headache. The garden makes him dizzy. He goes back to his room before long, and while he keeps it unlocked, he's more-or-less trying to rest.]

She starts her regular patrols, but there's a bit more enthusiasm to them, even though they take her a little longer, what with her exhaustion. She makes sure to spend some extra time in the library, checking to see if there's any information somewhere on this Evan person. Her current strategy is just... pulling out books, glancing at the title and the first couple of pages, and replacing it, but hey, it's something.
She also can be found in the kitchen, as she has a couple merch booth items to deal with, which will be seen when she sets a carton of ice cream on an empty burner and just... starts the gas. It's fine, she'll clean up the mess later. She keeps an eye on that, while looking at the beaker she retrieved from Riley's room.]
Hm... maybe blend it? Or I could- shut up, we're not keeping it, I'm not going to do that to everyone!
[Well, that's... not concerning at all.
In the evening, she again makes her way to the cemetery, where she leaves further letters on each gravestone. Not only that, but she leaves a small saucer with an almond cookie on each marker. She looks proud of herself when she's done.]
There we are... Don't worry, everyone. I'll keep coming by, everyday. This stupid illness doesn't scare me one bit! If it gets really bad, I'm sure I can just... do something to stop it. And...
[Her shoulders hunch, and she mumbles under her breath.]

Those weird flashes of light she sees in the corner of her eyes whenever she moves too fast are probably nothing to be concerned about. Once she gets herself occupied, Santana's sure she'll be just fine. ]

Or maybe he's just feeling off from the frequent possessions yesterday? Not that he's ever going to talk about any of that. Ever. His face still hurts from smiling.
In any case, he starts the day on the highest floor he can reach. He's... kind of curious about the noise and sound coming from the arcade. He doesn't understand most of it, and loses most of the time but... he's pretty interested in this guy's aesthetic, so he keeps at it for awhile.
Something about all of that reminds him that the merchandise booth. is still a thing he should look at. Who knows why! But he does that means there are new things to fetch. Including...
Right. Including that uniform.
After putting most of his new belongings in a pile outside his room (including the portrait of... Well, it's odd, but it kind of looks like Anne? He's sure it's supposed to be her, even if it looks off for some reason) retreats to the costume shop after that. Octokitten is rolling around at Mephisto's feet while he fusses with the uniform shirt, carefully cutting a slit in the back to ease his mangled wing through. The skirt is nowhere in sight, so don't get your hopes up.
It doesn't do much for keeping him warm, though.
That evening, Mephisto settles inside the chapel. He'd started off simply wanting to look for some sort of altar of human sacrifice but... now he's just looking up at the stained glass Angel.]
You were a horrible father, really. And not just to myself. You bargained your favorite's soul away, too.

He doesn't stop for anything -- walks with single-minded purpose to the chapel. It's hard to close the room off and expect privacy, but anyone wandering by might find themselves glared at. If anyone dares to linger out of sight, they're likely to hear a continuation of yesterday's ramblings. They make a little less sense than before.
Eventually he'll retreat to his room, long enough to grab whatever he needs and make for the men's bathroom. Maybe a fresh wash in cold water will liven him up and get him party ready?]

Stephen's in his room for most of the morning - complete with possibly ignoring Santana - trying to sleep off the general sense of ugh. Too cold, too hot- he tosses and turns much like he had for most of the night before finally giving up on sleep and stumbling to the kitchen. At one point, there's the sound of shattering ceramic, and him leaning against the counter with wide eyes as he looks down at the fumbled mug and tries to calm himself down. He's fine, he's fine, he's...
...eventually trying the sauna for a bit, and then, the movie room. Here, he actually manages to doze off for a bit - unless someone wakes him up, of course.
Near the end of the day, he's back in his room, the door open as he searches through his belongings - both new and old. Eventually he'll find what he's looking for, and knock on Mephisto's door, a shirt slung over his shoulder.]

She really was trying to help save everyone. Funny how one slip of the tongue made everyone more miserable. And she thought no one wanted to listen to her anymore...
She's exhausted when she clambers out of bed, and hot, hot enough to leave her cloak behind. She whispers a quiet apology to Red and hopes the cloak can protect her from a distance.
She can be found in the kitchen trying to make herself a cup of tea with shaking hands. She pointedly ignores the knife block, even when something above it catches her eye. For a moment, she looks unnaturally calm... but then she shakes her head.]
Don't... I'm not thinking like that again. It won't fix anything. It won't!
[After that, she takes back to the hall. She hopes desperately that no one will leave their rooms, because she doesn't think she can make it up the stairs. She's too dizzy for that, and she has to cling to the wall.
But there's an intense fire in her eyes as she continues walking, as if pushing herself through quicksand. Something is holding her back, but she won't let it anymore.]

She makes it downstairs-- gently rests the portrait against the wall, and then scrambles into the lady's room, where she basically collapses on the floor by the toilet, leaned over against the stall. It's probably gross and full of germs, but she has a 1500s understanding of that. And it's nice and cool against her face-- which she's sure is just because of the hangover, even though she's partied this hard before with lesser consequences. As she slumps there, she sings to herself in a quiet voice--]

[And then she stops, to have a good coughing fit.
Eventually, she makes it up and into her room, where she at least gets herself presentable again-- denim overalls and a ridiculously floral blouse with huge bell sleeves. She doesn't stay there long-- no- not at all. She first grabs the portrait from the hall-- but instead of hanging it up for everyone to see, it's shoved under her mattress. Then, the star from her door is removed, and stashed atop the armoire, out of sight. Her clothes from the night before, and everything she showed up in, are shoved in the back of the armoire, far underneath the pile of things she's swiped from the costume shop. Her letters, that damned picture of Henry, anything else precious she may have in her room-- and Tad and all his various accessories are swept up into his little Tad-basket, and then, once she's erased all evidence of herself, she's bolted out of that room like her very life depends on it.
For the rest of the day, she can be found either pushing herself into hiding spots anywhere possible. Good thing she's so small. Or, she may also be found beating on the other dressing room doors, with the same desperation someone may have if the opera house were on fire.
She is not fine.]
