week 5
[That was...an absolute shitshow. More beloved friends are dead in a mess of a trial that's left Angus half the man he was, Riley in a free fall and the Phantom...somehow still standing despite taking two stabs to the torso.
When you wake on Sunday, you'll find that you've recovered another one of those memories - or had another dream, if you still wanna be in denial about it. The door blocking the stairwell on the second floor has been unsealed. You can now venture up to the third floor! You have so much space now, it's just a shame it's all come at the cost of eight lives.
But despite the tragedy you have made progress! The trip into the Phantom's lair yielded some hints to the past of the Opera House, your house manager's apparently grim hobby and the possibility of an ally outside the Opera House. Who knows what this week will bring?]

(( Welcome to Week 5! Please remember to submit your AC and your memory regains, as well as your coins! You can also still contact the Phantom. ))

And then I can stay with you when I get on Broadway!
[And that's a far off dream, certainly, but while they're imagining the best possible future, where they're all safe and sound, she may as well throw that in.]

I'll have to find a place suitable for you then. Do they have castles in New York? I'm starting to miss my own.
no subject
New York is packed with people. I don't think they have space for a castle. I think the princess and her lord will just have to make do with a nice penthouse.
no subject
Wherever best suits her highness. She is the lord's most trusted adviser, after all.
no subject
[She shrugs.] But I've never been in one... and I don't think I care? As long as I got to spend more time with you, I think anything would suit me just fine.
[She scractches behind the kitten's ear, giving a sideways smile.]
But I think my lord has more expensive tastes than I do.
no subject
Wherever you go, I will follow, Christine. At least, as best as I can. I am bound to you, just as I am bound to Stephen and -- [Well. Riley's gone now, but... Maybe there's still hope]
But... if we can be bound to one another in a more extravagant situation, that would be preferred. [Though... That does bring him to a more important point.]
You don't have to refer to me as "my lord," you know.
no subject
I'd walk through Hell, for you
Let it burn right through my shoes
These soles
Are useless without you
[She covers her mouth to stop her giggles. You'll have to forgive her for making a pun... Though she does pause, slowly lowering her hand as her smile grows. Maybe as she's falling, he'll be raising up to meet her.]
Really? I thought it was appropriate with you calling me Princess... So what would you like me to call you then?
no subject
[He smiles, never able to help it in the wake of her charm. At least he knows that she won't judge him for it. He'll only have to worry about her telling the others about it.]
It makes me seem more important than you. I suppose Princess is the same concept but... at least that's a term of endearment among some.
I don't want to position myself over you any further.
no subject
Well, this may come as a surprise, but I'm not one for normal terms of endearment. If you don't want to be seen as more important, though... liege wouldn't work either. And you aren't exactly a king either. Maybe I can call you my knight? Since you've been trying so hard to protect me...
no subject
She was his charge, his duty to protect. It was as fitting of at title as they could manage.]
Yes, I think that will do just fine.
no subject
I think so as well, my brave knight.
[She feels warm when she says it, a giggle slipping past her lips as she curtsies from her spot on the ground.]
