week 4
[Another week, and two more dead. King Richard and Red are both gone, and once again, it was through nothing more than an accident in the heat of the moment. Maybe if you all stay calm and collected, nothing bad will happen again?
Well, maybe not.
When you wake on Sunday, you'll find that you've recovered another one of those memories - or had another dream, if you still wanna be in denial about it. The grounds remain as they are, but this time, the door blocking the stairwell has been unsealed. You can now venture up to the second floor! This is the second time that's happened; it's almost as if you get more space every time someone dies. Or maybe the whole place just seems quieter.]

(( Welcome to Week 4! Please remember to submit your AC and your memory regains, as well as your coins! You can also still contact the Phantom. ))

...it's not slacking off, but it feels like it. Like there's so much to do, and if he waits too long, something awful is going to happen.
Later on, he'll be found outside, specifically walking the cemetery and gardens. While he lingers near Red and Sigyn's headstones for a while, he moves away from them before too long...only to return with fresh flowers, which he leaves there before moving on from his contemplation.
Near the end of the day, he's in the cafe, and...more or less has blocked most of it off from anyone trying to get in. There's even a sign on the door- DO NOT ENTER. Stephen's set up with a good few books from the library to use as references, to say nothing of a number of pieces of makeshift safety gear.
It's time to learn chemistry, baby.]
Cafe
Not that he's currently lending much of a hand. He's got a chair pulled over and he's mostly watching Stephen's efforts.]

How long did it say to heat, for?
[Congrats on being the instruction-guy, Mephisto.]

Luckily, most of it seems harmless. He even moves to pick it up, thinking nothing of the goods he's received. That's about when eight legs of... fur? Glowing fur? Wrap around him.
You'll probably walk in on him waving his arm about frantically.]
Let go, you wretched thing.
[Later in the day, Mephisto and his ball of fluff can be found in the library. Attempting to detach it has been an impossible task, so now he's resigned himself to having a permanent attachment to his arm. He's at least managed to convince the thing to slide further up, so he has a little more range of motion.
There's a pile of history books on the table beside him. He's already about halfway through this one.
And then, of course, there's the chapel. He's been avoiding it since the second floor opened up to them. He can tell just from the doorway what it is, and he's been determined to avoid it. The problem is that he can't trust the Phantom not to have something squirreled away somewhere, and the chapel is probably the best place to do it.
So... Mephisto sits there, glowering through the doors as he hesitates by the threshold.]

Oooh! Read this one next! Start on Chapter.... [She peeks inside the book, and her lips twitch as she tries to hold back laughter.]
Chapter 8!

I hope this is worth my time.
[Begrudgingly, he reaches for the book and skims over the chapter.]

COOKIES FOR SALE
COST: ONE TROMBONE
DAMN GOOD FLAVOR
[ The cookies do not have "damn good flavor," however. They're incredibly dry, probably because they were made by a demon and a teenage girl who acts like a demon. But the joke is kind of funny! ]
Hey! You there! Want a cookie?
[ Here, cookies have usually been symbols of love. Unfortunately, Santana is more interested in using them as a get-rich-quick scheme. She'll be very disappointed if you don't buy one. ]

Otherwise?] I apologize, I - this really is a mess.
[And once he has some control over the situation, he heads to the kitchen around 10pm, just in time to make a grab for the door and find it frustratingly locked. He twists the knobs for about 10 seconds before giving up and planting his hand on the door.]
Alright, so...in the morning. [And of course he comes just when it's locked.]
Kitchen
What? Disappointed we can't meet our new Room-Bah friend?
no subject
What? Oh, that. I would love a rematch. . [He knocks on the door twice with a big smile.] But all of Tad Cooper’s food is in there.

Michael, you are my favorite person -
[Nevermind. He dumps everything else he got into his room and can be found in the computer room playing Apocalypse of the Damned. No matter when you catch him, he is always playing level 9, the Cafetorium. He is also wearing the hoodie he received earlier.]
And if you leave your brother behind, it's lame
'cause it's an effed up world
but it's a two player game ....
Two player game ....
Computer Room
[Christine gives him a wobbly little smile when she pokes her head into the computer room. She knows it's been a week, but she is relieved to actually get to know the real Jeremy after all that mess. And maybe figure out what they are? So far, it seems pretty unclear. But she pulls up a chair next to him.]
What are you- wait, isn't this Michael's? [She pinches the fabric of the hoodie.]

She eyes the nasty black-and-white coat she got from the booth, then looks back at Jeremy and the hoodie. ]
Hey, good job getting actually decent clothes out of that thing.
[ As far as Santana's concerned, the booth is a haunted piece of garbage. ]
