[Well, all escape attempts have failed thus far. None of you have seen the Phantom since his brief appearance on Sunday, or heard from him at all. It looks like, for the time being, you’re all going to be stuck here.

You're free to continue exploring your surroundings to your hearts' content. The only real restriction on your movements is that the kitchen is closed between the hours of 10 pm and 7 am. Better make sure to grab any midnight snacks you may want ahead of time. Also, remember to label any investigation toplevels!

The Merchandise Booth is now open for business as well! The Phantom hasn't deigned to explain how it works, but...well, some of you will start to find mysterious coins in your rooms, and the Booth's got a place to put coins. You'll figure it out.

Should you wish to engage more with your host, you're welcome to drop letters in the box office slot. There's no set way to converse verbally with him, and he's certainly not guaranteed to respond if you just yell at the walls - but that doesn't necessarily mean he isn't listening. Just something to keep in mind.

[ You know, she's actually remarkably less skittish than she was the other day! Despite some of those hesitations, she's pretty perky and positive. This, it...well, it quiets her in a different way? Like, her smile goes a bit wonky again, and she brushes a stray strand of hair behind her ear, turning her attention to the instruments. ]

Thank you. [ She already said that. But it's softer. ] I really do appreciate it.

[ And, before he can say anything else, she turns back to him with that same perky, positive energy, as if that moment never happened. ]

You were looking through all of these. Do you play anything?

So... So it's been a day and we've learned next to nothing! [ that doesn't sound very positive- breathe, riley. ] That doesn't mean you...

[ She sighs and rubs her temples. ]

Look. I'm...really in over my head here, too. I think most of us are. But...keeping people's spirits up? Sharing your drive? That can never go wrong. [ ... ] Besides, it's...a big opera house. Who knows what else we'll find?

[Sigyn frowned]

So this was premeditated enough that they stocked up before bringing us here.

[Ariel looks between Christine, her knife, and the door. He ponders a moment, before shaking his head.]

I will manage, I think. I'd rather not leave you be after this investigation.

They're very good.

I don't think we've been properly introduced. I'm Sigyn.

Popcorn? [He leans forward once more, because what is personal space]

I have not had any since I was young. May we?

[Sigyn raises an eyebrow]

Do you want me to show you one?

At least until he gets annoyed and confines us to our rooms.

[ That's a scary thought! Riley's going to keep taking inventory and not examine it. ]

[ She giggles softly ] Well, we have done some pretty good ones-- we've even done a play similar to the Phantom of the Opera. [ And Nana herself eventually will get to play the Phantom but she's not from that canon point oops. ] Sometimes we get to star in original plays that the backstage division writes for us.

Though for most of the year our focus is on our yearly performance of Starlight.

[Sigyn has been spending the week poking around, randomly trying the front door a few more times, but mostly she's been trying to keep up with her fellow prisoners. Strength in numbers, and all that.

Today she goes to the costume workshop. She found something that worked while she washed her clothes yesterday, but if they're here for much longer she needs more than two things to wear. She pauses on particular dress before making a face and placing it in the much taller pile.

Later she pays a visit to the merch store, pulling out a strange bag of beans.

Sleep doesn't come easy that night, and the cramped solitude of her room is too much to bear. Well, the lobby has some comfortable couches. She curls up in the corner of one, seemingly zoning out, a small red poppy spinning between her fingers.

[musacal]

Mmhm. All the time. It's one of my hobbies.

[ She picks up the plate of sandwiches and holds them out to Shilo in case she wants one. ]

I usually cook for everyone in my dorm too.

[ After the meeting... happens, Shilo decides to spend the day uh. Doing other things outside of her room! So if you want to actually experience Shilo But She's Not Covered In Blood, it's not a bad time to get in on that action.

She starts the afternoon/evening in the costume shop, going through a bunch of different outfits. ]

Why are some of these even in here...?

[ She asks, looking through a few gag outfits. But then she finds... ]

Aha!

[ Here they are: Goth Clothes. ]

Guess there are some pluses to not having dad around.

[ Or later on, she's in the music room just kind of... noodling around with the piano. She settles eventually on a few notes. ]

Not sure what I'm doing here.

[He takes it off and fidgets with it in his hands.]

[ santana just...blinks. that’s really underwhelming, dude. ]

O-kay.... what kind of dreams? Like, what dream is so bad you have to burn whatever reminds you of it?

[ Santana’s in the costume shop too, trying to find something that’s even a little conventionally attractive. When she catches a glimpse of Shilo’s selection though, she snorts in a mixture of amusement and disapproval. ]

Why, ‘cause daddy didn’t let you dress like Robert Smith?

[ She'll take one! ]

What's that like? ... Living in a dorm, I mean.

I wonder if they planned of bringing us or if we were... convenient.

[Sigyn shakes her head]

[D: Oh god he, uh. He doesn't really know what to do with. Sad Christine. He's literally never seen Christine sad before.]

Alright! So.

Where do we start?

Yeah, it is! Girls from all over Japan come to Seisho to study and we all live together in different dormitories. We cover all sides of theatre too-- Class A studies dancing, singing, stage fighting, and everything else we need to be the best performers we can be, while Class B learns writing, directing, lighting, prop and costume work... everything that brings a play together!

And then we put all our skills together to make a fantastic show at every school festival to show how we've improved.

[ Riley looks up, not hearing the second part. ]

Why wouldn't they have planned on bringing us? If we're here, and they know so many- I mean- some of the pamphlet's, like, kind of true, so- that implies the Phantom and whoever-else planned all this...right?
