[Six weeks later, and eleven performers remain.

The opera house is much the same when Monday morning dawns this week. It seems you've truly gone as high as you can go - there is no fifth floor, and no sign of any other new areas. The air has grown colder, like perhaps someone failed to adjust the heating for the winter weather that's supposedly happening just outside. Javert and Astarte's stars are still firmly affixed to their doors; it seems you might have to try a little harder to learn their secrets.

Things seem to be building. Have a good week, everyone.]

[She hasn't slept.

She knows the Balladeer is offering a space to at least nap in, but she honestly doesn't trust that the Management won't find out about it. It's one of the many things she's turning over endlessly in her mind - if they do discover it, what's going to happen to everyone who took advantage of it? What's going to happen to the Balladeer, for that matter?

That's not the only worry on her mind, of course, and for the majority of the day she can be found just listlessly pacing around the second floor, weary and nervous, searching for something that can help her stay awake. She doesn't stay in any particular area for long as she wanders around the floor.

Of course, she can be found again today at the stairwell doors that she has access to, knocking once more. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't sick with worry about the others, too.]

Hello? It's Natalie.

[aflatouttahell]

[She hasn't slept either, thankfully. She's been writing, sometimes, or watching movies, or singing to herself, or just... thinking. About things. A lot of things. Things like-

Natalie! Jezebel walks over, rubbing at an eye.]

Hey. You doing okay?

[robitussin]

[She turns when she hears Jezebel, at least attempting a (very sleepy) smile.]

Hanging in there. One more day... How about you?

I'm managing. Somehow. The no sleeping thing is... really starting to get to me, though.

[robitussin]

Yeah... Tell me about it.

[A deep breath.]

One more night, and then I'm planning on passing out for, like, a week at the very least.

[aflatouttahell]

Same here. Going without sleep is... not fun. Very not fun. I had something, but then I lost it. Too tired.

[robitussin]

Yeah. Fair warning, if I see you start to nod off, I'm going to like... shove you or something.

[what a terrifying threat]

Please do. Same to you, I'll... pinch you or something. I'm not great at shoving.

[robitussin]

You're so... like, mild. I told Seymour I would punch him in the face.

[onthebusagain]

[Have some less enthused knocks back. She's so sleepy.]

Natalie! Guess who!

Oh - Heather! Anna told me she was with you... Are you okay?

[onthebusagain]

Yeah. I think so. [There's a little thump as she sits down and leans against the door. ]

The Pirate King's actually a really fun guy, and Anna's been baking us nice things.

[robitussin]

Yeah. Not a bad group to be stuck with, I guess. He seems nice despite the whole, uh, pirate thing, and Anna would never hurt anyone who doesn't deserve it.

[onthebusagain]

Are you okay? Other than super sleepy?

[robitussin]

Yeah. This motive sucks a lot more than the others, but it'll be over soon. Just gotta get through one more day...

[onthebusagain]

That's right. [yaaaaawn] We just have to make it just a while longer.

...Hey, Natalie?

Yeah? What's up?

[Winslow could be better. Emphasis on could and be. But it's nice to hear a familiar voice.]

Natalie. How is it on the other floors?

[robitussin]

Oh, man, am I glad you can talk now.

It's... I think we're doing okay. We have enough to eat, and - we only have one more day to go. We can make it through.

How about you and Raoul?

[dieformymusic]

So am I.

We're doing our best to pass the time.

We're not at each other's throats like they would want. But...I hate being trapped. Like this.

[robitussin]

You guys have the music room down there, right? That must be nice.

To be fair... We've been trapped for over a month. This time it just happens to be in closer quarters.

[dieformymusic]

It's a comfort.

I'm just worried about what happens to everyone else.

[Everyone else being Seymour.]

[robitussin]

Yeah. Well... I can talk to the third floor, too, so if there's anyone you want updates on, just let me know.

[dieformymusic]

...how are you and Seymour?

[That doesn't seem like awkward framing right.]

[robitussin]

I'm fine. Tired, again, but there's the library and media room.

I think Seymour's doing okay. Want me to tell him to come to the door and talk to you soon?
