week 4, wednesday - time for a meeting!

[Now that two murders have occurred, most everyone is probably eager to prevent another death from occurring. It's a good idea to share information as well, so now, it's time for another group meeting! Earlier in the day, Natalie goes around and lets everyone know that there's going to be another discussion in the dining hall during the afternoon. She won't force anyone to come if they don't want to, but she at least makes sure to inform everyone she can find.

Once everyone is present, she raises her voice, making sure that she's heard.]

Okay, let's get this show on the road. It's been a while since all of us have had a discussion as a group other than during trials, so let's do that again. If there's anything you want to bring up, definitely go for it. We should figure out as much as we can while we're here.

From what he told me... He said that when he came here, he was in that place where everyone was about to kill him or whatever, and then management showed up out of nowhere and took him away. It sounded like something only they know how to do; he mentioned that they might teach him how to do it.

So... They obviously have really insane levels of power. Possibly magic, but it sounds like this is a alternate dimension or something? He used the word worlds instead of homes, and mentioned we would have no way to get back here if we were allowed to leave. It's already obvious some of us are from different times, and he mentioned that if we get returned to our homes after this is over, we won't have any way to see each other again. Other than the people who brought were from the same place, that is.

This is all going over my head, I think. Different worlds? Alternate dimensions? Will this place simply cease to exist once we leave it?

I hope if that's the case the Balladeer will help us leave. If they can show him how to do it, maybe...?

[robitussin]

I don't know about that. I think this place has been used before, so after we leave, they'll probably use it again. As for the Balladeer... I really don't think he would be allowed to help us leave.

[trettende]

Unfortunately... that would probably go against his rules. And if our rules are strict, then his must be worse.

[robitussin]

Yeah. He told me he wasn't really allowed to tell me anything about management, but since he did give me some details... It's pretty obvious he's willing to bend the rules for us. After all, when he was announcing the motive this week, he stopped to try and convince us not to kill anyone.

[trettende]

Yes. I hope he doesn't get into any trouble for doing that. He's been nothing but helpful towards us... I'd hate for him to suffer the worst of it for our sake.

[robitussin]

I mean... He can make his intentions seem good all he wants, but he still chose to be here and do this. He knew what the set up was going to be.

[trettende]

I don't know, compared to his last cast, he seems to have taken a shining to us. Maybe he's starting to regret his initial agreement.

[robitussin]

Don't you think that's kind of too little, too late? He still isn't doing anything with that regret other than a few throwaway lines about how we shouldn't kill each other.

[trettende]

He probably can't do anything more, or he'd risk the wrath of the Management.

[robitussin]

That isn't my problem, or a reason to like him. We should be focused on ourselves first. Just because it isn't his fault that he's working for the people who want us to kill each other doesn't make it less horrible.

[trettende]

[ But he's his only friend, Natalie... ]

If he can help us find a way out of this, it's still in our best interest to befriend him.

[robitussin]

You just said yourself that he might not be able to. I'm not going to befriend someone like that in the hopes they do me a solid eventually, which, honestly? I don't think he will.

[Her pride!!]

[trettende]

Maybe so, but if it comes down to siding with the Management over us, who's to say he won't try to help us? The Management sounds like the bad guy here. And I don't think the Balladeer is a bad guy.
