week 4, wednesday - time for a meeting!

[Now that two murders have occurred, most everyone is probably eager to prevent another death from occurring. It's a good idea to share information as well, so now, it's time for another group meeting! Earlier in the day, Natalie goes around and lets everyone know that there's going to be another discussion in the dining hall during the afternoon. She won't force anyone to come if they don't want to, but she at least makes sure to inform everyone she can find.

Once everyone is present, she raises her voice, making sure that she's heard.]

Okay, let's get this show on the road. It's been a while since all of us have had a discussion as a group other than during trials, so let's do that again. If there's anything you want to bring up, definitely go for it. We should figure out as much as we can while we're here.

BUDDY SYSTEM

[She called everyone here, so she figures she should start. She takes a breath.]

So... It's pretty obvious that what we're doing isn't working. Being vigilant is great and all, but it didn't help Valjean or Hime. So... What if we use a buddy system. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's basically when you stick close to someone to keep both of you safe. If everyone else wants to do this, I'm going to suggest that we have a list somewhere of which people are partnered together in case something happens. It could at least help with verifying alibis if it comes to that.

If anyone has any opinions or suggestions, I'd like to hear it.

[Sharing - yes, Raoul has already shared what he found with The Pirate King, but this could be important. He takes the note he found out to show the others.]

I found a curious note within one of the board game boxes in the Game Room on Monday. It seems to have been there for quite some time, too, and it contains one name, "Barr". I do not know if that is a nickname of some kind, but it indicates the presence of a writer, recipient, and "Barr" have either owned the board game before, or have been in this place before us.

[Take a look guys he's happy to pass it around.]

Oh my god, that sounds like fun! [Yeah, lets be real, Heather misses the opportunity to follow someone around like a puppy dog. ] Would we like, swap off?

That makes sense. Maybe we can draw by lot or...pick our own partners?

[So Seymour is just going to casually ignore that conversation they had on Monday.]

That might not be a bad idea, actually. Then even if someone dies there could be clues by their buddies. Both from the victim and the culprit.

[Seymour frowns at the note. He has no idea if this helped his theory whether they were actually in Hell or not, but oh well, a clue is a clue.]

I think... maybe something like this happened before? I don't know why they would get a second-hand game if they're able to afford all of this.

That is what I thought as well - if you have the resources to upkeep all of this, [He gestures to themselves, the opera house] then why be so stingy with what you keep on hand? But...I shudder to think that there was a deadly "performance" that took place before this one.

[dechagny]

I would not be opposed to it, as you know.

[They have talked about it before.]

...This person isn't very good with spelling.

It couldn't hurt to try.

[A miracle has occurred, she's come out of her room for more than a minute and thirty-second motive song.]

No, they are not - which is why they received help from this "Barr" person. I think it is more beneficial for us to know, though, that there are three mysterious people to look for rather than just two.

I guess we can hope that someone from the management wrote this? Maybe we should go to the Balladeer and ask if "Barr" sounds familiar to him.

My thought was to go with whoever you trusted most and stick with them, unless you want to switch at some point.

I think picking your own partners would make more sense... That way everyone can get someone they trust, which is less likely to result in stabbing? Probably.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. We could put up a sign somewhere that lists who's sticking with who, and who wasn't interested in pairing up.

Cool. You decided who you want to go with yet?

[robitussin]

Yeah.

...Have you been okay? Haven't really seen you around lately.

[canned laughter]

...Actually, I don't know if that's entirely true.

That's true.

[So don't pair Anna and Hans, got it]

Though, anyone who partners with me has to be careful. I know nothing of the other me, after all...

Really? What makes you say that?

[dechagny]

[Quirking an eyebrow,] You think the management might have left it for us to find...?

[dechagny]

[Shakes head.] I would rather the others pick first.

[robitussin]

Right... Maybe go with someone who you know could overpower you without killing you if it came to that?

[robitussin]

...Can I ask why?

I found a star and title on Gabriel's door from...I think a previous show. It looks like it was under Gabriel's the whole time.
