WEEK 3
[The past weekend has been a difficult one. With Valjean's murder and D-ne's brutal execution the monotony has been broken and it can be said the show is finally and truly underway.

When the performers emerge from their rooms on Monday morning the decor of the opera house has changed. Not drastically but someone was busy during the night with some redecorating. There are cobwebs draped over nearly everything, some of them with tiny plastic spiders stuck in the cotton webbing, and pumpkins of various sizes on the floor and on the tables. Some of the walls have been adorned with cartoon-ish paper skeletons and scarecrows and in the ballroom a poseable plastic skeleton has been posed at the piano looking ready to play. Someone's even set a bowl of candy on the counter of the merch booth.

But that's not all. There's a light coming from the now open doorway in the lobby that had been previously locked for the past two weeks. This new floor is similarly decorated but why not go have a look and explore for yourself?

Despite their losses, the show must go on after all.

["We need to investigate more.

How can we be so long in here without seeing anyone?"]

Um... secret passages? We had those in the castle in the Blue Sky Kingdom.

[dieformymusic]

[Wait a minute.

"Do you think they come out during the hours we're not allowed out?"]

[rockthistown]

So when we're not allowed in the kitchen?

[dieformymusic]

[Nods.

"These rules aren't meant to help us."]

[rockthistown]

Why would they ban us from the kitchen at night, anyway? It just reminds me of servants and parents telling you not to eat after 8 PM or it won't digest properly.

[dieformymusic]

[Thinking.

"Hiding something from us. Renovations?"]

[rockthistown]

How would that even work? It doesn't look under construction.

[dieformymusic]

["Small changes. Like change in furniture and secret passages."]

[rockthistown]

I don't know, but maybe... We could look.

[dieformymusic]

[Swift swoop of his head as he glances around.

"Let's start here."]

[rockthistown]

We already tried the library and that didn't give anything. At least as far as we tried.

["It must be more than the library. This producer must be very clever."]

[rockthistown]

Producer? Is that what they're called?

[dieformymusic]

[Nod nod.

"Must be. They know so much about backstage life already."]
