WEEK 3
[The past weekend has been a difficult one. With Valjean's murder and D-ne's brutal execution the monotony has been broken and it can be said the show is finally and truly underway.

When the performers emerge from their rooms on Monday morning the decor of the opera house has changed. Not drastically but someone was busy during the night with some redecorating. There are cobwebs draped over nearly everything, some of them with tiny plastic spiders stuck in the cotton webbing, and pumpkins of various sizes on the floor and on the tables. Some of the walls have been adorned with cartoon-ish paper skeletons and scarecrows and in the ballroom a poseable plastic skeleton has been posed at the piano looking ready to play. Someone's even set a bowl of candy on the counter of the merch booth.

But that's not all. There's a light coming from the now open doorway in the lobby that had been previously locked for the past two weeks. This new floor is similarly decorated but why not go have a look and explore for yourself?

Despite their losses, the show must go on after all.

[pouts] This is all just creepy. I promise I'll never get stage fright about regular singing and dancing again. Even if the song was a little weird.

It was a pretty simple routine, and Megumi wrote the song about this "Happiness Party" we had earlier. She's kind of been a huge Precure fan for a long time, so it ended up getting in there too...

[Hime clears her throat and steps back, going into a peppy dance routine.]

It seemed to be a good fit? I mean, the theme is "39 Fairies," doesn't that sound like something happy?

That isn't the issue I have with all of this.

The part where it makes no fucking sense!

It's not that bad! The gold stars are like the ones you get on your homework when you're a kid! That's why it's talking about succeeding and everybody getting one.

Okay, ignoring the numerous other problems I have with this... If everyone gets a gold star, is there really a point to them anymore?

Maybe everybody just did a good job.

Not enough. Gold stars are serious, Hime.

[Now she's just giving her shit, honestly.]

Yes. It's very important for my emotional well being.

Uuu... [She shrinks back into her seat and fidgets with the edge of her skirt.]
