week 3
[The past weekend has been a difficult one. With Valjean's murder and D-ne's brutal execution the monotony has been broken and it can be said the show is finally and truly underway.
When the performers emerge from their rooms on Monday morning the decor of the opera house has changed. Not drastically but someone was busy during the night with some redecorating. There are cobwebs draped over nearly everything, some of them with tiny plastic spiders stuck in the cotton webbing, and pumpkins of various sizes on the floor and on the tables. Some of the walls have been adorned with cartoon-ish paper skeletons and scarecrows and in the ballroom a poseable plastic skeleton has been posed at the piano looking ready to play. Someone's even set a bowl of candy on the counter of the merch booth.
But that's not all. There's a light coming from the now open doorway in the lobby that had been previously locked for the past two weeks. This new floor is similarly decorated but why not go have a look and explore for yourself?
Despite their losses, the show must go on after all.

After I opened it yesterday, I went straight to my room. I didn't want anyone else to see my secret... I'm sorry. I should have stuck around to see if everyone was okay.

[She sighs.]
The best case scenario is that they get revealed, because that means nobody killed for it.

[She doesn't want Elsa somehow finding out.]

[a small sigh]
Hopefully if they do, we can all just... move on and be happy none of us are dead this time.

Princess Anna of Arendelle greatly resents her sister, Queen Elsa of Arendelle, for being the reason thirteen years of her life were wasted trapped inside of the castle grounds. This resentment grew when her sister shut her out even more after their parents' untimely demise.]
I keep telling people how much I love my sister...
no subject
[This time, she does draw a clear parallel between the two of them rather than just showing a moment of understanding.]
I would be pissed, too.
[More than would be, she was. She understands.]
no subject
I'm trying not to be. You're supposed to love your family, no matter what. Right?
no subject
[It might not be the answer Anna is expecting, but she answers without any hesitation. She doesn't seem to regret what she's saying.]
They aren't perfect. If they fuck up, you're as justified in being angry as you would be with anyone else.
no subject
So I'm allowed to be mad at her?
no subject
[God knows she's spent most of her life furious at her parents and her brother's memory.]
There's no such thing as allowed when it comes to shit like this, anyways. If anyone tries to tell you what you should and shouldn't be feeling, fuck them, honestly.

She's feeling so grateful towards Natalie now.]
Thank you... I wish I had known all of this years ago. Maybe I could have helped my sister if I was more open.
no subject
[Anna's next words earn a small noise of amusement, though.]
There you go again. Worry about helping yourself, too. It isn't your fault she blocked you out.
no subject
It's a lot easier to help other people than myself.
no subject
[A pause, and then she nods her head in the direction of the door.]
Shockingly, I haven't checked if there's any ice cream in the kitchen yet. Let's explore.
no subject
[She is all down for this plan. Lead the way!]
no subject
[Off to the kitchen they go!]
no subject
[Ice cream! Ice cream!]
