week 3
[The past weekend has been a difficult one. With Valjean's murder and D-ne's brutal execution the monotony has been broken and it can be said the show is finally and truly underway.
When the performers emerge from their rooms on Monday morning the decor of the opera house has changed. Not drastically but someone was busy during the night with some redecorating. There are cobwebs draped over nearly everything, some of them with tiny plastic spiders stuck in the cotton webbing, and pumpkins of various sizes on the floor and on the tables. Some of the walls have been adorned with cartoon-ish paper skeletons and scarecrows and in the ballroom a poseable plastic skeleton has been posed at the piano looking ready to play. Someone's even set a bowl of candy on the counter of the merch booth.
But that's not all. There's a light coming from the now open doorway in the lobby that had been previously locked for the past two weeks. This new floor is similarly decorated but why not go have a look and explore for yourself?
Despite their losses, the show must go on after all.

[Maybe she had another dinner??]
And your friend was...on the Opera Populaire?

[Raoul looks misty-eyed for a moment, remembering the exquisite performance...]
- Ah, but she was worried about an angel. And Angel of Music. Before her father died, he did promise to send her an angel from heaven, and I do not doubt it has visited her in her dreams, but she insisted it did not want her straying off to dinner. [A pause.] I did promise I would not keep her up late.

[Though hearing that is alarming.]
Viscount, if you go back, you need to find that angel.

[Also they don't generally interfere with Earth because......actually she has no idea why]

So they don't just go around doling out music lessons to young ladies, you mean.

[Unwittingly having Adam's first wife as an adoptive mother can be...quasi-helpful.]

Oh, sorry, you can't hear that? That's the warning sirens going off in Raoul's head that Christine could be in too deep with this Angel of Music she sang of. He's not going to say anything now, though. Maybe later. On Wednesday.]
I...see. I would never think an angel to be terribly destructive, but then again, it is not as if I've met any.

[He'll be fine he just needs like. A half hour. And a stiff drink.]

[Shuffling her feet.]
