WEEK 3
[The past weekend has been a difficult one. With Valjean's murder and D-ne's brutal execution the monotony has been broken and it can be said the show is finally and truly underway.

When the performers emerge from their rooms on Monday morning the decor of the opera house has changed. Not drastically but someone was busy during the night with some redecorating. There are cobwebs draped over nearly everything, some of them with tiny plastic spiders stuck in the cotton webbing, and pumpkins of various sizes on the floor and on the tables. Some of the walls have been adorned with cartoon-ish paper skeletons and scarecrows and in the ballroom a poseable plastic skeleton has been posed at the piano looking ready to play. Someone's even set a bowl of candy on the counter of the merch booth.

But that's not all. There's a light coming from the now open doorway in the lobby that had been previously locked for the past two weeks. This new floor is similarly decorated but why not go have a look and explore for yourself?

Despite their losses, the show must go on after all.

[Its really kind of weird how silent her mind is, right now.]

We should see what's in there.

[She nods, leading Astarte in there.]

[Once they're away from the chapel, the voice breathes. Really, really odd.]

A little sad, though. For a moment, I thought...we could leave.

Are you...ok?

I'll be fine.

[Always keep a smile on your face, Anna. Be the princess that loves and adores everyone.]

[She's...not sure about this. Anna's eyes are red, and...she looks like she either had a sneezing fit, or...

Ah, the tea room.]

I'll...make the tea. What kind would you like? Earl Grey?

Earl Grey is fine. Thank you.

[She's going to pick out a tea set. It takes a bit, but the one she grabs has a sunflower motif on it.]

[Making the tea, doo doo, man its nice to have better quality you can practically smell the bergamot!]

That's a lovely set...

[She nods, picking a cup up and turning it over in her hands.]

I love sunflowers. They remind me of summer.

...They're beautiful. I've never...

[She pauses.]

...We don't have sunflowers, where I live.

[sunshineprincess]

Really? What kind of flowers do you have?

[solomonjihad]

Only mandrakes. But...those aren't really flowers, I guess. Not much can grow in my home.

[sunshineprincess]

Mandrakes? I don't think I've ever come across one in the wild... you can grow things in the garden here!

[solomonjihad]

They're Undead plants. They usually grow from the viscera that come off hanged men. You can usually find them around gallows, or places of execution...

[Such pleasant plants aren't they]

Even then...I've only heard there might be only one in the woods around our home, nowadays.

[............ remind her never to come visit you.]

Oh. I bet... they look lovely?

except the mandrake go figure]

The mandrake's apparently very annoying. But, I haven't met it personally myself yet.

So it can talk?

[Weeeeeird.]

They can, yes.

[sunshineprincess]

That.... is pretty unique.

[solomonjihad]

Undeads generally are. They also generally talk, so you can usually...tell if you're talking to an Undead or a wolf or deer. Or the like.

That's handy. I don't know what I'd do if a deer started talking to me all of a sudden and not know it wasn't supposed to be talking in the first place.

[solomonjihad]

You don't have to be scared of it, at the very least. Its more likely they're frightened of you, then you of them.

Can they hold a good conversation at least?

[Like that's important right now.]

[solomonjihad]

The ones I've met usually can.

Wow... you think they would talk to me if I was non-threatening?

[solomonjihad]

I don't see why they wouldn't. If you try to befriend them, surely, they'll befriend you.
