WEEK 3
[The past weekend has been a difficult one. With Valjean's murder and D-ne's brutal execution the monotony has been broken and it can be said the show is finally and truly underway.

When the performers emerge from their rooms on Monday morning the decor of the opera house has changed. Not drastically but someone was busy during the night with some redecorating. There are cobwebs draped over nearly everything, some of them with tiny plastic spiders stuck in the cotton webbing, and pumpkins of various sizes on the floor and on the tables. Some of the walls have been adorned with cartoon-ish paper skeletons and scarecrows and in the ballroom a poseable plastic skeleton has been posed at the piano looking ready to play. Someone's even set a bowl of candy on the counter of the merch booth.

But that's not all. There's a light coming from the now open doorway in the lobby that had been previously locked for the past two weeks. This new floor is similarly decorated but why not go have a look and explore for yourself?

Despite their losses, the show must go on after all.

I know, but God hasn't sent anyone to save us. Can he even see what's going on? Seymour thinks there's a force field.

If there is, then I don't think praying is going to help.

...That would probably explain why Natalie didn't believe me, wouldn't it?

I think so... her and my worlds aren't that different, I think. She's just in the future.

My Earth's not that different either! It just has Precure and access to other worlds and apparently God isn't a guy who goes around with his shirt open choosing magical girls to fight for him and never tells you anything useful.

The God of Earth is called Blue. He lived at the embassy for the Blue Sky Kingdom in Japan for a while, when my parents were trapped back home.

[She fidgets with her skirt edge for a second there.]

It is really weird to list God as your legal guardian on school forms.

Blue.

Earth is called the blue planet, so it's a normal name for a god of it, right?

.... not really. God is just God back home.

That's what I call him, too, but you'd think they'd have names.

I know in other countries back home they have different names for him.

You mean aside from just different words that mean "God?"

Yep. There's a lot of gods, and there's God.
