Week Five

[Last week, you had your very first minor body pileup! Granted, the Balladeer's death was entirely unrelated to anything, but at least he died as he lived - getting completely fucked up in some kind of carnival-themed hellscape. Only two days later, another terrible accident took Rina and Varian both from you. It's just been one of those weeks, huh? At least you got to add both of their corpses to your weird growing collection!

Again, you'll wake up this morning with another new snippet of memory. You'll also find that the stairs in the lobby are no longer blocked. You can only access one part of the second floor, but it seems like there's some neat stuff up there!

Outside, a few things seem to have changed. For one, the weather has turned - it'll be overcast this week, with periodic rain and even scattered thunderstorms. For another, the bushes around that rock out by the football field have bloomed. That's nice.

Simply... mixing together with chaos can be a dangerous thing.

Oh. [the absolute relief he feels when Discord says he doesn't regret it is more obvious than it should be because his inhibitions are down lmao.

But Salieri does pause at that second bit--and tilts his head to the side slightly]

But I like your chaos. And I don't think our situation could get any more dangerous than it is. [he huffs a bit, leaning down to rest a bit more on Discord, placing his chin on his folded hands, near Discord's sternum]

And even if it could...[his expression goes soft, then, and very, very fond]...you're worth it.

No, I... suppose it couldn't.

[Maybe just, looking away a little. Best not to think about that too much.]

I really don't know how you came to that conclusion, though.

Because. [he's going to shift so he can reach up a hand and just gently comb it through one of those white streaks]

You're sweet. And funny. And charming. But also you...care a lot. [his expression goes a bit softer, a little bemused and befuddled] About others. Even if you pretend not to, or...or you pretend like you aren't feeling what you're feeling. Mister Chaos Lord and all that but you...you care a lot.

[he lets out a small huff] Honestly, sometimes I think you're the most emotional out of all of us.

Sweet really doesn't seem like the word to use. Or... caring.

[It makes him feel weirdly uncomfortable in a way he's not sure how to explain.]

And of course I'm emotional, I'm chaotic, aren't I? What's more chaotic than emotions?

Hmm...nothing that I can think of.

[he seems contemplative, though, just...watching him, starting to frown slightly, but it's mostly in thought]

You keep so much of it to yourself, though. I didn't notice how much until...hm...before last week? Two weeks ago?
