Week Five

[Last week, you had your very first minor body pileup! Granted, the Balladeer's death was entirely unrelated to anything, but at least he died as he lived - getting completely fucked up in some kind of carnival-themed hellscape. Only two days later, another terrible accident took Rina and Varian both from you. It's just been one of those weeks, huh? At least you got to add both of their corpses to your weird growing collection!

Again, you'll wake up this morning with another new snippet of memory. You'll also find that the stairs in the lobby are no longer blocked. You can only access one part of the second floor, but it seems like there's some neat stuff up there!

Outside, a few things seem to have changed. For one, the weather has turned - it'll be overcast this week, with periodic rain and even scattered thunderstorms. For another, the bushes around that rock out by the football field have bloomed. That's nice.

We haven't decided which place to stay yet. [There's so few private areas.] We're in different dorms, after all.

[Angus rolls onto his back and sighs. Now he can't fall asleep again.]

We might try Ambassador again, if we get questions like this when we wake up.

[Or another room. What about the roof?]

You could easily avoid questions by telling others where you're planning on settling for the night, especially if there are others already there. [dryly] I, for one, have only slept outside this dorm once when Benjamin was sick, and wasn't planning on making a habit of it now.

Good to know for the future. [He wiggles an arm out from under Elle.] But in general, I'm not going to sleep alone for long, long time.

That makes two of us. [drawled, definitely teasing] I suppose congratulations are in order.

Congratulations as well. Unless I am mistaken about Discord.

[maybe? Or Salieri just has bad taste in men in general.]

...We just get along well, that's all. Sometimes, you understand a person from the moment you meet them.

Admittedly, I'm not sure I would know what that's like but... [his expression softens] I'm pleased for you. For the both of you.

[Angus smiles, then looks down at a sleeping Elle. He slowly makes his way up.]

I should get something for her to eat. She needs the extra rest.

[Salieri nods once, to that] Of course. Off with you then. [he gives Angus a little shooing motion]
