Week Five

[Last week, you had your very first minor body pileup! Granted, the Balladeer's death was entirely unrelated to anything, but at least he died as he lived - getting completely fucked up in some kind of carnival-themed hellscape. Only two days later, another terrible accident took Rina and Varian both from you. It's just been one of those weeks, huh? At least you got to add both of their corpses to your weird growing collection!

Again, you'll wake up this morning with another new snippet of memory. You'll also find that the stairs in the lobby are no longer blocked. You can only access one part of the second floor, but it seems like there's some neat stuff up there!

Outside, a few things seem to have changed. For one, the weather has turned - it'll be overcast this week, with periodic rain and even scattered thunderstorms. For another, the bushes around that rock out by the football field have bloomed. That's nice.

It'll be--don't worry about that. We'll come and visit. Discord and I, we--we have an agreement. Before we started dating. So we can come say hello. We won't be apart if you don't want to be.

[Even in Spongebob's haze, he still feels a knot twist in his chest at the thought of them visiting to say hello. Sure, he's lived away from his parents for years without issue, but practically everyone he knew lived in the same time. And the one out of towner he's friends with, Sandy, was pretty much a permanent resident here, and whenever she thought of leaving, Spongebob would be stricken in panic trying to convince her to stay.

But... at the same time... if he had a home he didn't want to be away from that either. His friends, his family, he can't leave them just for a bunch of people he met last month, especially when there's so much he loved about his town.

It was a difficult decision for him, and frankly one that he wasn't sober enough to really think about. The only solid thought penetrating through it all is "I want both".

He decides, instead, to focus on something happier.]

Sooo... it's official? You two are in love?

[alskdhfs at that, Salieri can feel his face immediately start to burn as he goes bright red]

Ah, well, that...that is, we are dating and we like each other very much but that's, ah, a little...fast?

[HE SAYS LIKE DOESN'T ALREADY KNOW HE'S THERE BUT...well, Discord is another matter]

It's--it's not yet, not...not that far.

[alskhdfs he presses a hand to his face, maybe trying to will that blush away and failing]

I...[well, it's not like Spongebob doesn't know already anyway so]...I love him. And I know he likes me. Romantically. But I...don't know if it's that yet. For him. That might take some time.
