Week Five

[Last week, you had your very first minor body pileup! Granted, the Balladeer's death was entirely unrelated to anything, but at least he died as he lived - getting completely fucked up in some kind of carnival-themed hellscape. Only two days later, another terrible accident took Rina and Varian both from you. It's just been one of those weeks, huh? At least you got to add both of their corpses to your weird growing collection!

Again, you'll wake up this morning with another new snippet of memory. You'll also find that the stairs in the lobby are no longer blocked. You can only access one part of the second floor, but it seems like there's some neat stuff up there!

Outside, a few things seem to have changed. For one, the weather has turned - it'll be overcast this week, with periodic rain and even scattered thunderstorms. For another, the bushes around that rock out by the football field have bloomed. That's nice.

[The subjects don't seem to signal much - the last book included is about the basics of film directing, and the next one is something about film history. The section itself looks pretty much like the others. There's nothing here that would have signaled you to check here, necessarily.

[Three guesses on what's in the scripts!

The musical scripts, more specifically - if she looks, it seems much rarer for any straight plays to include a note. It's all along similar lines to the others:]

[...for the record, that Assassins script doesn't seem to have any writing in it, or maybe we'd have stumbled across this a lot earlier lol]

It's good that whoever's writing this wants to help them as much as they want the help of the others trapped here, at least.

Is it the same as the other books? No rhyme or reason to which ones have notes in them? Do they seem to be leading in a similar direction as the non-fiction books that have been written in?]

[It's basically the same - the exact messages vary from script to script, but they're all along those general lines.]
