Week Five

[Last week, you had your very first minor body pileup! Granted, the Balladeer's death was entirely unrelated to anything, but at least he died as he lived - getting completely fucked up in some kind of carnival-themed hellscape. Only two days later, another terrible accident took Rina and Varian both from you. It's just been one of those weeks, huh? At least you got to add both of their corpses to your weird growing collection!

Again, you'll wake up this morning with another new snippet of memory. You'll also find that the stairs in the lobby are no longer blocked. You can only access one part of the second floor, but it seems like there's some neat stuff up there!

Outside, a few things seem to have changed. For one, the weather has turned - it'll be overcast this week, with periodic rain and even scattered thunderstorms. For another, the bushes around that rock out by the football field have bloomed. That's nice.

Ghost hunting. [ ...wait— ] Not like. Actual hunting, or anything like that, I just— sometimes you can get weird pictures of ghosts and stuff so. Yeah.

So much for the very fun mental image of you setting up traps for ghosts. Ah, well.

I wouldn't wanna make a snare for any of 'em! [ ... ] Okay, maybe the SQUIP. Still.

It's all film, so I won't know until I develop anything.

Maybe just a net for everyone but the SQUIP.

Well, I suppose we'll find out. Though for the full ghost hunting experience, you really should be doing this in the dark. Probably with a video camera you'll shake a truly unnecessary amount of times.

You think they wouldn't come out in the day time? ...Maybe that's a good idea. I should come back at night tomorrow.

...Maybe with a few more people. Not that I don't trust you out here on your own, but, well. No reason to tempt fate.

Even if there's nothing living out here, the woods don't need a reason for...something bad to happen. [ ball of sunshine, isn't she. ] ...What...are you doing out here, anyway? You're not really... Okay, you never struck me as an...outdoorsy type.

I'm really not, but this is generally a... less busy place, compared to inside the school. I didn't really expect to run into anyone else.

I see. I ruined your alone time. [ Well. ] ...If you're looking for safer places to be alone, not many people can use the grappling hook. Roof's nice.
