Week Five

[Last week, you had your very first minor body pileup! Granted, the Balladeer's death was entirely unrelated to anything, but at least he died as he lived - getting completely fucked up in some kind of carnival-themed hellscape. Only two days later, another terrible accident took Rina and Varian both from you. It's just been one of those weeks, huh? At least you got to add both of their corpses to your weird growing collection!

Again, you'll wake up this morning with another new snippet of memory. You'll also find that the stairs in the lobby are no longer blocked. You can only access one part of the second floor, but it seems like there's some neat stuff up there!

Outside, a few things seem to have changed. For one, the weather has turned - it'll be overcast this week, with periodic rain and even scattered thunderstorms. For another, the bushes around that rock out by the football field have bloomed. That's nice.

[Salieri, who has honestly slept in little more than fits and starts, jumps just a little bit, hand tightening on Discord's from where he has been clutching it above Farrah's head all night, sucking in a surprised breath...before he relaxes a bit when he realizes what just happened.

However, he does look at Discord questioningly, silently arching an eyebrow]

[It's a second before Discord blinks, realizing (remembering) that Salieri is there, and his shoulders slump a little.]

...Yes, yes, no flashing lights this early, my bad.

[Farrah yawns, and stretches…right into the held hands. Whoops. She un-stretches her arms, blinking blearily.]

I liked it. It’s fun.

I didn't say it wasn't fun. [drawled a bit, though he's giving Discord an amused look]

It was certainly a unique way to wake up. [like he wasn't already awake and just kind of disassociating about what he remembered lmao. But he is shifting up a bit on an elbow, leaning over to press a kiss to Farrah's forehead]

It's a morning, let's not assign it a quality so early.

[Maybe if he sarcasms enough, like usual, he can shake off all... that. He waves the confetti away and it jumps up into the air, almost indignantly, before poofing out of existence.]

Any morning with confetti in it is good. [Farrah smiles, scooting over closer to Discord, so that Salieri can have room to sit up, and she beams when she gets the forehead kiss.]

One of you is gonna have to help me fix my hair. I don't know which. You can start dueling over it now.

We could do half and half. [he'll reach out to smooth some hair away from her face and tuck it behind her ear]

You'll have one very nice braid and one very chaotic braid.

I think we both know which one would be the superior one.

...Especially considering my side will be done with magic, of course.

[This is... good. It's helping. No need to think of what he just remembered.]

[Farrah beams, bouncing upright.]

Which of us has the longer hair, exactly? [he indicates his own, which has mostly come loose and hanging around his shoulders--and he tucks some back behind his own ear]

But yes, you can certainly be the judge then. Do you have a brush, or are we using our fingers?
