Week Four

[Last week, Gershwin High School Academy University saw its very first intentional murder! What a milestone! And right after Spongebob's No Murder party, too - that doesn't seem like it bodes very well for anybody's future.

You all wake up this morning with yet another new memory returned to you. You'll also find that the school's external doors have now unlocked. Congratulations! You're free! Unfortunately, you also seem to be entirely in the middle of nowhere. So maybe it's more of a symbolic victory.

Still, you should look around and do some investigation! Maybe you'll find a fun surprise.]

[ In the morning, Rina spends her time in the dance studio. She's got the electronic face board on as she stretches and practices dancing, trying to regain whatever time she's lost these last few weeks not remembering that she WAS indeed already a school idol. Wearing the board helps - she has to perform with it after all! So she needs to be used to it.

After that she spends some of her afternoon at animal husbandry with the animals, before heading over to the regains machine and getting a whole bunch of stuff. Two things in particular get her attention though. First is the CD which has her and all her friends on it. She stares at it for a very long time, knowing that even though she doesn't remember this CD it must have all them singing together on it and that makes her feel very warm... and a little melancholic as she thinks about how long it's been since she's seen any of them.

...and then the knife comes out.

And she screams.

After all that though, she eventually makes it to the library. She's set herself up at one of the tables, some crafting books in front of her and a whole bunch of thread and beads from the costume shop. She seems to be working on something but the instant anyone approaches she quickly tries to hide them. ]

D-Don't look! They're not ready yet...!!

[ Additionally, in the dorm area there's a piece of paper stuck to the wall with a little pen on a string next to it. ]

[ dffklhgjdkfljhl she covers them up with her arms and desperately tries to find something else to put on top of them. ]

Nooooo...! They're a surprise--!!

[ But then she stops ]

Oh but I did have something to give to you right now, Farrah-san.

[Farrah doesn’t look, but she sure does pretend like she’s trying to continue to look. She freezes once Rina says that, though, and leans back, no longer trying to peek.]

Really? You do?

Uh huh.

If I give it to you, you gotta promise not to look at my other surprise! Okay?

[Elle hears the scream and comes running.]

Rina! Are you okay?

[samefacesyndrome]

[ She's whimpering now and quickly puts a teary Rina-chan board up. ]?

E-Elle-san...! There's a knife! The vending machine dropped another knife...! A-And there's blood...!

[ It's just laying on the ground now after Rina realized what it was and dropped it. ]</small?

[Elle moves over to Rina to scoop her into a hug.]

Are you okay? Are you hurt?

[Hi hello of course he heard that scream, he comes running so fast that he actually slips on the linoleum, briefly. He's still not used to floors that aren't just straight wood or cobblestone.]

Rina-chan! What's wrong!?

[ The instant she sees Varian she's running over to him, as if trying to hide. ]

Th-There was a knife!! Another knife from the vending machine!

Someone's blood is on it...!!

[alchemistake]

Wh- hang on...I'll check it out.

[Is it like when Maya found...? He doesn't even want to think about it, but he'll gladly put himself in the hot seat over Rina as he steps over to where the knife is laying on the floor where it was left. He gingerly picks it up by the handle, careful not to touch the blade or let the blood from it.]

We should get this to Salieri. Or Maya. They'll know what to do with it.

[ Hilariously, Peregrine's here looking for some of the same books— ]

I won't peek! I just...you have room for one more? I'm trying to teach myself, and...well, you've got the study material.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..........

[ She makes a big show of looking Peregrine over and considering if she can be trusted around Secret Project (all from... behind her fucking paper board... that she can't see through...) before coming to a consensus. ]

I suppose so. I know I can trust you Peregrine-san.

[ And then she pauses. ]

Oh, I actually had something to give to you.

[comeandfindme]

[ That's a relief, Peregrine goes to sit down but— ]

Me? Uhh, okay... What is it?

[Salieri's off to the Library this morning to see if he can find some information on first aid, and manages to find a couple books, about to look for a table when he spots Rina. Curious, he moves to step closer and observe...however, when he gets too close and upon getting that reaction, his eyebrows go up as he takes a couple steps back]

Ah...my apologies. I didn't mean to disturb your work, Mademoiselle.

[samefacesyndrome]

[ She quickly scrambles to put books on top of her other bead creations, anything to keep them out of sight. ]

Mmmmmmmmm... apology accepted. But you better forget anything you saw! Or I'll be very cross!

[ Not that there was much to see except a bunch of bead... things. ]

[oh, well, in that case, he immediately averts his eyes to the ceiling]

I would never want to risk your wrath, Mademoiselle Rina. So I shall immediately do as you ask and wipe away any memory that I have had in the last few moments and forget it entirely, as you command.

[Elsa hadn't been trying to snoop! Promise! She just saw Rina working on... something... and had turned to get a glance before the girl scrambled to hide whatever-it-was. Elsa laughs, but obediently turns so she's examining the nearest shelf of books.]

Sorry, sorry! I didn't mean to! But, ah... whatever it is you're working on... do you need any help?

[samefacesyndrome]

[ Rina peers at Elsa closely trying to decide whether to accept the help or not, before hiding behind it again. ]

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm, well... you are pretty trustworthy Elsa-san... and I suppose I could use SOME help...

[ And then after thinking on it for a few more moments... ]

Would you mind um... helping me decide on colours for everyone?

[Aww, Elsa is touched. Really. Rina's seemed so skittish, and Elsa has been perfectly accepting of that. She understands those sorts of nerves, after all. So for Rina to consider her trustworthy... it causes a happy little spark to settle in her chest.]

I swear I won't breathe a word of your plans to anyone else.

[A queen's promise! Truly a binding oath. She turns back to Rina's table, pulling out a chair to take a seat on the opposite side from the girl.]

Do you want to go by what colors we think are their favorites, or what colors would compliment them?

Dance Studio

[It isn't so unusual for Maya to not be by herself during her morning routine -- just dancing today, and just for a moment. She has many other things to take care of, after everything that happened the previous day.

She does stop short, though. She watches Rina's moves for a few moments, and when there's a lull, she claps very quietly. Golf clap.]

Wonderful job.

[ When she hears the clapping, she stops completely and looks at Maya. ]

Ah!! Maya-san! Were you watching?!

Oh -- just the last few moments.

[Maya shrugs, smiling just a little stiffly.]

I had finished my own routine and needed a breather, that's all. I apologize for intruding but... it was very impressive to watch!
