We Only Have Tomorrow

[True to his word, on 6pm Thursday Spongebob has the party at the library set up and ready to go! It's filled with cute handmade decorations, snacks, and cobbled together games! Even with all the help he accepted, it's very clear that this was a passion project for Spongebob.

Taped around the library is a set of rules, and frankly there were a Lot of rule fliers around the library.]

RULES
1. Bring your own food and games! The more fun the better!
2. Stay as long as you want! We can make it a sleepover!
3. ABSOLUTELY NO MURDERING
4. Have fun! 💗💗💗💗💗

[Luckily for those who are aware of the cartoon, the party doesn't seem nearly as micromanaged as it could have been mostly because this party is more in a desperate attempt to keep everyone alive than anything else so have as much fun as you can before tomorrow!]

I still think our best chance is probably finding a way to get Lord Discord's magic back? But it's hard to figure out how to do that, if we don't know how the Wizard sealed it in the first place.

...He can do a lot, can't he? If we could try and understand how the Wizard's...doing any of this. Maybe the Balladeer's got an idea? Mmm...

He probably has the best idea out of any of us? Since I think he said he's been through something like this before, and because the Wizard seems to think of this as all as just a show. Who'd know that kind of thinking better than a narrator?

[ Orpheus frowns. ]

I can't think of anything that could seal a being like Lord Discord's power away other than a god, though, and that's... a lot to think about. Gods can be tricked, at least? And it sounds like we'd only need a moment, for him to get us all out of here. But even so...

Maybe...he can figure out how to get Discord's powers back. Especially if he knows about all this and...maybe narrators are like gods in this kind of setting? If...we could get him the way to tap into that...

[ The gears in Peregrine's head start to turn as well...but then she looks around at everyone else. Relaxing, enjoying themselves. ]

...But this sounds like talk for tomorrow. Not...for a party.

Right, we can find a time to meet and talk about all of this again later. Tonight we should just enjoy what Spongebob has put together for all of us.
