[True to his word, on 6pm Thursday Spongebob has the party at the library set up and ready to go! It's filled with cute handmade decorations, snacks, and cobbled together games! Even with all the help he accepted, it's very clear that this was a passion project for Spongebob.

Taped around the library is a set of rules, and frankly there were a Lot of rule fliers around the library.]

RULES
1. Bring your own food and games! The more fun the better!
2. Stay as long as you want! We can make it a sleepover!
3. ABSOLUTELY NO MURDERING
4. Have fun! 💗💗💗💗💗

[Luckily for those who are aware of the cartoon, the party doesn't seem nearly as micromanaged as it could have been mostly because this party is more in a desperate attempt to keep everyone alive than anything else so have as much fun as you can before tomorrow!]

These sorts of gatherings aren't my preference. But Spongebob would be upset if I was not here, and... I rather like him at this point. At least enough not to make him cry.

Yeah, he's cool. Took a bit to get over how weird it is having a cartoon character in my dorm, but... I don't want to make him sad either. He's a good guy.

Cartoon -- [On second thought, she shakes her head.]

Perhaps food would be nice?

It's fine, the whole thing is mostly just weird.

[It's hard to give a bow while she's got her arm wrapped around Janis but like. She still tries.]

Well... There's a truly unreasonable amount of vending machine pie in here, those are all pretty good.

Sharing a slice of pie sounds incredibly romantic. Are you sure that's something you are interested in?

Oh, absolutely.

[ like sometimes she can be cool about things, but. the combination of things happening right this second have her just entirely happy. ]

[There are things that take Maya by surprise far too easily. Genuine displays like this? That'd be one of them.]

[She is... very quick to grab a slice of pie and find a seat for them.]

[ Even a cold jaded heart like Janis's enjoys this "genuine emotional connection" thing. Though the standard Janis attitude does settle back in, after a moment. And she will go ahead and sit down! ]

It's no Baumkuchen, but --

[She motions to the pie. Bittersweet chocolate and caramel.]

[She takes a piece and. You know what, we're going full gay and she's going to feed Janis a piece.]

[ Oh, she's gay. Janis just sort of. Blinks. ]

[Maya blinks a couple of times.]

[ Janis shifts a little, attitude starting to slip again. ]

I've only had the one friend for years, let alone anything like this. It's just, you know. New. I guess. I like it.

Well, it is... Hardly normal for me, either.

[Shoving your face in the chests of your friends? Nbd? Sharing food? That's just for Mahiru and Karen.]

[ Janis smiles, pulling a little closer to Maya. ]

[ And now it's her turn to try to feed a piece of pie to a girl! ]

That's good. I am glad we are on the same page.

[Okay. Having the tables turned is... a lot. There's a pink tinge to Maya's cheeks, even as she listens.]

Ah?

[ Annnd boop! In the bite of pie goes. ]

[Oh this is... so much. Maya swallows and glances away.]

[ What? That's so cute?? Also she watches anime, she knows what that means!! ]
