Week Three

[Last week, some shit went down! Salieri's scene went off without a hitch, but the good mood didn't last. The first motive was a bit of a doozy, and yet it didn't even have anything to do with the eventual accidental death of Mumble Happyfeet! At least Sissi was already pretty much dating Death anyway, right? She's probably fine, wherever she is.

This week, new menus have been posted in the cafeteria. But, more importantly, it seems that other new information has emerged. Everyone wakes on Sunday with some new memories - or are they old ones? - floating around in their heads. Maybe there was something to your discussions of time travel after all. Maybe there was someting to the Wizard's knowledge of the future.

Regardless, you're still stuck in here. At least there's some new places to explore this week. Maybe you'll find something helpful.]

[Maya is not a sarcastic person but sometimes... Sometimes allowances can be made.]

It's good that you have been able to keep the peace, though.

Thanks. It's... I mean it's not fine, but. I got most all of the violent feelings out in therapy the rest of that year.

[ She exhales. ]

Like I said, Regina deserved it.

[Connor looks over at the camera and flips it the bird.]

Yeah. Fucking sucks either way, honestly.

[Sure, Maya doesn't know everything that happened but. Some things are universal constants, right? Regina George deserved it just feels right somehow.]

I would offer you some sort of reassurance, that you are amidst like minds and people who care about you now but...

[Vague motions.]

[ She changes the paper to show her enthusiasm. ]

Mm! I know lots about them! I love computers!

[ And then lowers it as little below her nose so she can actually look at the screen. ]

They can do all sorts of things! You can write with them, make art, play games... and if they're connected to the internet you can talk to people all over the world!

[ It's going to be funny when Janis regains the memory that [redacted], but for now she smiles. ]

Well, you know. I got a couple people I trust to have my back. Counts for something, even locked here in a freaky school by a giant robot creep.

Rest assured, if the Wizard sees fit to invite this Regina George here as a motive, I will be one of the first to have words with her.

[The paper thing is new, for sure. He's pretty sure he hasn't seen Rina doing this before...and he also has never seen her this.

Excited? Energetic? He's not sure what the right word is, all he knows is that this is different. But a good different. It's like something reminded her that she has the capability to come out of her shell a little more.]

The...internet? What's that?

[Also, he's realizing now just how much more she knows about all of this new technology than him. It makes sense- she's from a much later time than he is- but it's still really impressive? You wouldn't know it from the way she acts...]

[Maya makes a face. She... really doesn't like how this sounds.]

Was saving you, only to subject you to whatever she had planned, really such a good thing?

[ She is holding this lizard and looking at it like it is the coolest thing she has ever seen. ]

I have no idea how to take care of a lizard, but I'm gonna learn.

[ Rina's playing a game at the time Discord comes in but his voice makes her jump and put a surprised face up in front of her face. ]

[ And then, realizing what he asked, she shakes her head. ]

Uh... pancakes. I would buy you pancakes. I forget that Walker Brothers is a blessing we only get over in Chicago.

Oh! Pancakes. [Now you're speaking her language.]
