Week Two

[Last week, no murder happened! Instead, a lot of students started work on Salieri's school play, which sounds pretty cool even though it's gonna be short, several people destroyed Bigfoot and got a few mysterious clues, and Orpheus started a fire in the kitchen! All in all, not a bad first week!

Though some people might have gone to talk to Hester, she hasn't made any more public announcements. There's some new papers posted up around the cafeteria, but it looks like it's just your upcoming lunch schedule. Seems like nothing's driving you towards Rule Five except, perhaps, all of the kidnapping and how criminally boring some of you are finding the school. Maybe the Balladeer is right, and you really can just wait this out? Only time will tell!]

[Salieri listens while Rina explains, his expression perhaps going a bit softer as she describes the way she viewed the other student practicing on the rooftop, and her desire to connect the same way]

...music and performing indeed have a way of connecting us to one another in ways we don't expect. I myself am of the opinion that it can do so in a way that nothing else, not even spoke word, can.

So if your wish is to connect to others and express yourself, there certainly is no better way than music. I think your goal is a very respectable, understandable one, Mademoiselle Rina.

[ And then before he can ask she taps her own cheek, indicating her own face. ]

[he's...not entirely sure what she means]

[ She shifts on her feet. ]

It doesn't... change much.

[oh, that. He just assumed she was a bit more stoic in disposition]

Ah, I see. [hm...]

...well, in that case, I suppose it would be a matter of finding the right roles for you. I'm not entirely sure how it works in these Idol Clubs, however in opera, there are certain roles that are more static. Regal roles, especially--Queens and Goddesses. That sort of thing.

[ She seems genuinely impressed from her tone, even if her face is still the same. ]

Certainly. Not every role is right for the same person, but once you find one that fits you, I'm sure you could shine in said role.
