Week Two

[Last week, no murder happened! Instead, a lot of students started work on Salieri's school play, which sounds pretty cool even though it's gonna be short, several people destroyed Bigfoot and got a few mysterious clues, and Orpheus started a fire in the kitchen! All in all, not a bad first week!

Though some people might have gone to talk to Hester, she hasn't made any more public announcements. There's some new papers posted up around the cafeteria, but it looks like it's just your upcoming lunch schedule. Seems like nothing's driving you towards Rule Five except, perhaps, all of the kidnapping and how criminally boring some of you are finding the school. Maybe the Balladeer is right, and you really can just wait this out? Only time will tell!]

[They need silly, now more than ever. Silly helps distract from the bigger problems, like those pictures and the clear attempt to get them to murder one of their own. So Elsa lets herself laugh, Cassandra's curtsy looking so at odds with how the woman holds herself, and pulls her in to a proper dance hold.]

Now that I can do... in theory. [She looks just a little sheepish.] It, ah... it might help if you lead.

I have been told that I'm a pretty good leader.

[Silly was so necessary. Cassandra used to think that progress was all they needed, getting from A to B was all that mattered. But maybe... just maybe, a good passing distraction was nice.

Cassandra's hands find Elsa's form, one on her shoulder, the other on her waist. Stiff. A bit uncertain, sheepishly smiling while she leads Elsa into a waltz like the rest of the frogs around them.]

[It's strange, being very aware of the points of contact on her body right now, but not being afraid. It makes her feel... something, but she's not sure what. Not yet. So she'll focus instead on putting her own hands where they need to be; mirroring Cassandra's, on her shoulder and waist. This is... fine, no big deal.]

Y-Yeah. [...] I mean- good! Is... is this okay, too? Or is there a different way to hold the, ah. Leader?

[Dancing isn't Cassandra's favored past time, and it shows; her movements are stiff, and when they're not that, they're sloppy. Somehow, it all seems to almost... even out. Creating a generally 'okay' dancer who happens to be leading with a queen in her arms. No big deal!!! This is fine!!!

Have her eyes always been this blue?]

Ah... sorry. I was just... This is the formal way of doing it. But it's okay! For me. Is this alright with you?

[It's strange, how you really notice the little things so close like this. She can almost feel the lean muscle beneath the hand on Cassandra's shoulder... or is she just imagining that? Why would she be imagining that???]

Formal, informal... I never really had much practice either way. I only ever watched. [She laughs, a nervous air laced through the sound.] You could be doing things all wrong and I wouldn't know. So this is... it's nice. It's okay.

[Little details are definitely easier to make out- discern up close. Come on, Cassandra! Get it together! You're only waltzing with the queen of Arendelle, who has eyes as deeply blue as the sea, shimmering with magic. Or were her eyes playing tricks on her?]

I had to have practice. Part of the whole Princess-training gig. Maybe... if this club doesn't work out, I could teach you a few things? [hhh that laugh] Trust me, I'm not much better at it.

Right, that. [Elsa laughs again.] Well, you can now brag that you know how to dance better than a queen. That will certainly get you some good instructor points.

[Right, the club... Elsa almost forgot this was some weird attempt by the Wizard to get them to act like this is a school.]

Maybe, instead of teaching... we can learn together. How does that sound?
