Week Two

[Last week, no murder happened! Instead, a lot of students started work on Salieri's school play, which sounds pretty cool even though it's gonna be short, several people destroyed Bigfoot and got a few mysterious clues, and Orpheus started a fire in the kitchen! All in all, not a bad first week!

Though some people might have gone to talk to Hester, she hasn't made any more public announcements. There's some new papers posted up around the cafeteria, but it looks like it's just your upcoming lunch schedule. Seems like nothing's driving you towards Rule Five except, perhaps, all of the kidnapping and how criminally boring some of you are finding the school. Maybe the Balladeer is right, and you really can just wait this out? Only time will tell!]

[And out of the pile, Cassandra pulls... a sword? Sure, it's an obvious prop made of wood, but it's sword shaped!]

I was wondering if they had any prop weapons ever since I saw Maya using one.

I had a wood sword from the Renn Faire as a kid, I wonder what happened to it.

Yup. Swords, polearms, knives, halberds...

[She could go on. Really! She could! But then she might be there all day, letting her mind drift through maintenance rituals.]

Huh, no kidding. I had a wooden sword as a kid too. But I ended up breaking a vase in the castle with it - on accident - so... my dad had to confiscate it.

Oof. I didn't break anything, I don't think? But I also sure don't spend a lot of time in palaces.

Yeah. A palace is basically the worst place to break something. I don't recommend it.

Especially when you're part of the cleanup detail.
