Week Two

[Last week, no murder happened! Instead, a lot of students started work on Salieri's school play, which sounds pretty cool even though it's gonna be short, several people destroyed Bigfoot and got a few mysterious clues, and Orpheus started a fire in the kitchen! All in all, not a bad first week!

Though some people might have gone to talk to Hester, she hasn't made any more public announcements. There's some new papers posted up around the cafeteria, but it looks like it's just your upcoming lunch schedule. Seems like nothing's driving you towards Rule Five except, perhaps, all of the kidnapping and how criminally boring some of you are finding the school. Maybe the Balladeer is right, and you really can just wait this out? Only time will tell!]

[ Eurydice's expression shifts from vacant and exhausted to something much, much more concerned. ]

Are you...worried you're not going to see her again?

Yeah. A little bit. [Farrah slumps just so.]

I man. She doesn't like me. So it's probably good for her. But... I really want to try and be a good sister.

[howtheworldwas]

[ Oh, that's sad. Eurydice scooches a little closer -- not enough to touch Farrah, but close enough to show she's there. ]

Well, you're doing okay here. You traded beds with me, and you helped Mister Salieri out with his opera. That's pretty nice of you.

[brokeforgood]

[Farrah glances up at Eurydice from her slump, offering a grateful smile.]

Those weren’t really that nice. They just happened, and I did them. I guess I did really try with the opera, though. I try and do good a lot.

I just pretend I’m not trying.

That's how being nice works, though. You just do it. That's all.

[ That last bit catches Eurydice off-guard, but she thinks she gets it. ]

Yeah. I don't really like putting myself out there, either.

[That one earns Eurydice a bit of a smile. She somehow believes that Eurydice understands. Maybe bring a hopeless loser girl that .... someone understands is actually a little hopeful. She shifts, pulling her leg up against herself, and propping her chin on her knee.]

Salieri said that these photos are full of shit. But I don’t know. It’s all really confusing. Like... Why would H do this? She hadn’t seemed that bad.
