Week Two

[Last week, no murder happened! Instead, a lot of students started work on Salieri's school play, which sounds pretty cool even though it's gonna be short, several people destroyed Bigfoot and got a few mysterious clues, and Orpheus started a fire in the kitchen! All in all, not a bad first week!

Though some people might have gone to talk to Hester, she hasn't made any more public announcements. There's some new papers posted up around the cafeteria, but it looks like it's just your upcoming lunch schedule. Seems like nothing's driving you towards Rule Five except, perhaps, all of the kidnapping and how criminally boring some of you are finding the school. Maybe the Balladeer is right, and you really can just wait this out? Only time will tell!]

[Varian has sort of been listening to everyone talk; the discussion of other dimensions is fascinating, and also not...completely out of the realm of something he could believe. One of the most famous alchemists that ever lived dabbled in that sort of thing, after all.]

When you didn't know what a vending machine was and mentioned a kingdom it seemed pretty strange to me... especially since I never heard of Corona. But when you brought up alchemy you started to sound like a fantasy character...

I...did think it was kindof weird people kept saying Rapunzel was from a fairytale, or a nursery rhyme. Like, I know her disappearance was pretty widespread, but not that widespread.

Oh, yes! Rapunzel is a very well-known fairy tale where I come from! The Grimm Brothers wrote all about it!

...But I have also heard of Rapunzel as a fairy tale. Maybe somehow the story become known in other worlds too...?
