Week Two

[Last week, no murder happened! Instead, a lot of students started work on Salieri's school play, which sounds pretty cool even though it's gonna be short, several people destroyed Bigfoot and got a few mysterious clues, and Orpheus started a fire in the kitchen! All in all, not a bad first week!

Though some people might have gone to talk to Hester, she hasn't made any more public announcements. There's some new papers posted up around the cafeteria, but it looks like it's just your upcoming lunch schedule. Seems like nothing's driving you towards Rule Five except, perhaps, all of the kidnapping and how criminally boring some of you are finding the school. Maybe the Balladeer is right, and you really can just wait this out? Only time will tell!]

[Salieri feels a slight weight on his shoulder and he blinks, turning his head to glance at where Discord is now leaning.

Huh.

He should probably shove him off, but his good mood combined with the alcohol makes that seem like so much effort. Instead, he just snorts at that, half a chuckle]

I do not find that shocking in the least. The results of your work are plainly scattered throughout this place.

[Salieri takes another drink from his wine glass, setting it back down, moving to pour himself another half a glass--and leaning over slightly to peer into Discord's glass, seeing where he's at]

[he sniffs at that, tilting his chin up, nose going up in the air, even as he pours him some more wine]

I'll have you know, monsieur, that I despise your very existence, down to my core. [haughtily]

[. . . .oh dear. He's pleasantly buzzed, maybe slightly getting into drunk. And he may have never seen Discord drunk but this seems a bit extensive. Salieri tries to straighten a bit]

This is an actual human body. So that's pretty new.

[alskdhfs there is suddenly a lot of person draped on him and this is So Much.

He huffs, trying to shrug him off a bit into his own seat with little success, rolling his eyes]

Of course you aren't. That is quite plain.

[And giving this whole thing a bit of a side-eye as he registers the entire scene, tbh!]

Monsieur Balladeer. [Salieri's eyes widen, trying to straighten, but he's being weighed down at the moment and it is not as successful as he would like. When it becomes apparent he's not shrugging off Discord that easily, he looks at the Balladeer with something like mild desperation]

Ah, it seems Monsieur Discord has overindulged. Some...assistance would be appreciated.
